To be honest, I think you might very well be right. He's likely going to require lots of coaching to improve his pass blocking technique. Even then, there's no guarantee that he'll enjoy the kind of success that's needed to thrive there. He might be better suited to stay at LG if the red flags fly too often.
Agreed!
Did you mean yellow flags ?
Lol

No worries !
The red flag is for challenging a call on the field.
I thought you meant penalty flags which you did.

I've gotten to the point where I hardly pay attention to colors anymore.

I'm totally wrong about what I think they are about half of the time. :D

I only passed 1 out of the 13 color charts they test for the Natl. Guard.

what will it hurt 2 give Isaac A. a chance? What do we have 2 lose? He's been here working hard just like everyone else. I think he has upside.

Wrong Connor, bud. McGovern was the guilty party on that one. Williams was guilty of a lot, so I can see laying Tyron's injury on him too.

larger point being that it was a fluke injury and not something that is going to chronically bother him.

I’m leaning towards the thought that Tyler Smith ultimately stays at left guard. I think he will excel there and the team will decide not to mess with a good thing.

Yessir, I think that's entirely possible. He's strong enough but possibly, not coordinated enough to thrive at LT. We'll soon see!

I d guess Tyron Smith plays 10 to 12 games, so I would not be at all surprised to see Tyler take regular season snaps at LT this season. Doubt Alarcon plays or even takes a regular season snap for the Cowboys though.

What I like is that many of our guys have position flex...
