Zeke's new helmet is made of steel and Jerry has installed super electro-magnets in the end zones.

As long as the iconic star is still on the side, I'm in favor of whatever helmut provides the best protection.

Should be mandatory for helmets to have a space for the helmet decal - same way as cars must have a number plate space.

As often as players change teams. Maybe the need to make all helmets the same color, and just have removable logos to switch out as they switch teams. As they do license plates. :muttley:
That way they can keep their same helmet they are accustomed to.

Looks like an anime cartoon helmet. I'm not a fan and hope on game day they go back to the traditional look.
I like them
But since I haven’t seen them in other camps I assume they aren’t approved
Maybe just trying them out

Don’t like them I’m old school. I know they moved away from the old style helmet design to make them safer but these are a little extreme. They look too much like motorcycle helmets.
I like the look but it’s really about safety
Do these help prevent injury? That’s really the question
The number of concussions has went down some in recent years though they’ve made lots of changes so not sure how much is helmet related

Don’t like it, it is a distraction to the logo. They can do better and still get the protection.
There is nothing in that style that shows it protects the head better.

How would you be able to tell whether it provides more or less protection based on the look?

Too high in the back, neck is exposed too much, and too much around the chin area, what does the really do. Seems to be a hindrance. Looks no different in head protection than the current styles as well.
Yes, we can't tell for sure, but who and when and where will they be tested, besides in a lab using watermelons for heads.

As I stated earlier, I'm guessing the ridge could be there to deflect momentum vertically, rather than full force directly into the head. Other than that, I to noticed it seems a little high in the back of the neck, but that may be an optical illusion.

Not to mention the cushion/padding material under the shell is probably much different too.
