One could argue the combine can be alternated among NFL cities that have domed stadiums.
The main justication for remaining in Indianapolis is the event is structured for detailed player evaluation- physicals, testing, and interviews.
There is no need to add fan interaction \ a festive atmosphere surrounding it.....therefore moving the combine around is unnecessary.

A little surprising considering the NFLN studios are right next door to Kroenke's palace. I guess they want it to be a maximum 2.5 hour trip from where ever you are.

Pro.
Jerry would turn it from a serious evaluation of players to all teams to an embarrassing money grab/circus show and teams will complain about "distractions".
While the NFL gets even higher ratings and rakes in even more cash and attention so the Combine gets the same treatment no matter where it is from then on out.
