My Dad. He played on a state championship team in the 50s and played one yr of college football. He took me to my first Cowboys game in 1964. He also took me to my first college game in 1963 or 64.

Good remembrances, lad, Dad would be pleased you recall him with such love.:)
What college game?
If Sul Ross and ETSU in 1963-64, well, that lad, that would be awful.

Bob Hayes, way back in 1965 -- for obvious reasons. He made DBs look like they were standing still and thereby, revolutionized the game. Of course, there were, and still are, many others who had a positive effect on me. Every true-blue Cowboys fan has his/her favorites, I'm sure.

No sport excites me as much as NFL football. I'm quite certain that I'm not alone, here. The Dallas Cowboys have been blessed with many exceptional players throughout their storied history. Here's hoping (and praying) that will continue for a very long time yet to come . . . Amen. ;)

The first Christmas I remember I was gifted a Cowboys uniform, all of my friends were Cowboys fans growing up, and then I started following in 1994. In 1995 I really admired Michael Irvin (and the rest of the core group of players). I loved his passion for the game and the way he could electrify the crowd. I also became a huge Larry Allen fan thanks to John Madden constantly talking about him. Those were my guys. I used to love watching them every Sunday at Texas Stadium because I felt like I knew them.

Old Mister Campbell.
The man who took me in when my dad had his accident.
He'd give me a stick of gum and then we'd watch the Cowboys and he'd explain football to me.
I was 4.

Roger Staubach.

Jerry Jones continues to test that love, which has since fallen behind college football for me. My alma mater comes first now (Ohio State).

I just don't have the same passion anymore either. I don't think many of us do.

Sorry to hear that.

The Tyler Rose

The only player i've seen score multiple tds with a completely ripped off jersey.

He carried the ball like a loaf of bread but he was a beast to drag down.
