When was the last time Zeke was healthy? I believe it was around October. He really slowed down in November whic h is probably where he began to have physical issues.

Zeke's typical season starts out slowly in September but builds steam in October. When he is healthy he stays pretty consistent for the rest of the season. Unfortunately his career has been plagued in November with various injuries and then the suspension. In December he usually recovers enough to maintain some pretty strong finishes to the season..

Zeke has had 30 hundred yard games and the Cowboys are 26-4 in those games. There have been 6 in September, 11 in October, 8 in November and 7 in December.

In 88 games played he has had 0 receptions only 4 times. he has had 4 or more receptions 34 times or 38.6% of the games.

Zeke is an excellent blocker in pass protection. He does not come out on passing plays or 3rd and 1 or goal line situations.

Zeke has not been the best runner right now but I would put him up there as one of the top all purpose RB's.

It's really not out of the realm of possibility that Dak could have a resurgent season in 2022.

Nothing wrong with him showing confidence in his teammate and trying to encourage him but you don’t seem to get that. You would rather him just come right out and say Zeke isn’t what he was but is still pretty good so the media and fans can have a field day putting a negative spin on it.

He's so emotional about this.

He can say whatever he wants. If it's dumb I'll point it out. If someone says something even dumber like "what's he supposed to say?" I'll point that out too.

nd his blocking and receiving skills put Henry to shame. Sooooo....
I keep hearing this, but I have seen him get bowled over, and completely whiff on blocks.
Add to that he usually darts out of backfield, for a pass that never comes, so does not block at all.
His catching pass skills, are avg at best.

The bottom line is dak and his bud cost the cowboys 55 million a year on avg , so they could be the most expensive duo in the nfl.

Also I think dak meant what he said, he really thinks E is the best lol and should get most of the snaps.

We’d need a Risen Zone to point out all the dumb things you say.

21 is aging fast. He was used up his first three years. Doubtful he's still the best RB.

It's my hope that the OL will improve in 2022 -- enough so, to allow Zeke to improve well upon his 2021 performance. If not, I'm hoping the FO would be inclined to draft an RB to compete with Zeke in training camp, as a prelude to the 2023 year. I think it's time for some good, healthy competition to be had for a winner to emerge as a starting RB for this offense. Maybe it might even serve to inspire a vastly improved offensive attack! ;)

They should draft a running back regardless of what Zeke does this year. He's entering year 7 as a running back so even if he goes for 1800 yards and 20 TDs this year you know the clock is ticking. If he goes for 1500 and 15 TDs and we win 12-14 games all the better. But it's lunacy not to have a backup plan. Even Emmitt started to miss games as he got older. You have to be ready if you're the Cowboys.

He's still trying to justify why being asked about Zeke forced him into calling him the best back in the league.

I mean, what's he supposed to say!
Dude did win the rushing crown a couple of seasons. How many backs currently playing can lay the same claim?

As long as dak is the qb, elliot will be the main RB , so they wont be drafting any RB's lol maybe a udfa.
Dak likes elliot, so he will get what he wants.

Before he got hurt he was 2nd in the league in rushing and averaging 5.3 yards a pop. He was behind only Henry in total yards but was a full yard clear of him in yards per carry. So he was no worse than the second best RUNNER while healthy and his blocking and receiving skills put Henry to shame. Sooooo......

And people were still dogging him. I swear our fan base is never satisfied.

When healthy, he's one of the best for sure.

He just hasn't been healthy.

Zeke's just 26-years-old, though.

Still 2-3 left before it's time for him to hang 'em up.
