Ty craw sucked point blank period. How do you guys say golston is solid??? He had some ok moments but that was it. Also sported a "solid" 85th ranked PFF grade lol thats not solid.

man, I want like a players forum with a thread about various aspects of that player.

Like thread1: ceedee lambs body (height weight etc). In this thread we give all our crap opinions about ceedeees body. You know, where we discuss a dudes calves and thighs.

Thread2: lamb drafted at 1 - greatest pick ever. So much value / what was dumb and dumber thinking?

Thread 3: lambs performance week 8 - dang dak, don’t make lamb reach for that TD pass / pinpoint accuracy from dak on that TD pass.

Thread4: MY OPINION of lamb - blahblahblahblah. Wrong wrong wrong. Right right right. Like like like

finally, a function to lookup each users opinions thread on said player. So that way I can look up sir hennessy_king s opinion on Crawford.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Yeah. Their approach to the DT position is not good. Sooner or later you would think they would sink a first rounder or some FA cash into getting some legit ones. It’s one of the most important positions on the field.
They need to take it seriously. I guess you could say they took it seriously with Hill. He had to sign an accountability contract.

my opinion is he was a career backup that ended up being a starter because we had no talent and a worse coach in marinelli.

For his rookie deal he was a solid workman DE/DT. Never spectacular and shouldn’t have been paid but dude was fine.

“Crawford has always been a steady, yet unspectacular contributor on the Cowboys’ defense. Since 2014, he always seems to hover around 30 combined tackles and four sacks per season. Pro Football Reference has given him an AV score of 7 for four consecutive seasons.”

https://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/2019/06/04/dallas-cowboys-tyrone-crawford-player-profile-2019/

7 is an average AV. Dude was a solid player in his physical prime. Don’t let the contract and later seasons make his whole career. Dude was a normal contributor in his prime.
He would not start on any other team in the league no less get 10m a year. awful contract for a career backup hence he retired as soon as we cut him knowing he wouldn't make it anywhere. He was that guy who wasn't very good but showed up to work early and kissed the bosses butt.

I mean if you want to ignore me saying multiple times that I was referring to him pre-contract just as I am referring to Golston on his rookie deal then hey you’re just arguing against someone else cause 10M a year was never something I tried to justify.

He was a solid rotational D-lineman man not sure why that’s so nuts. Jack Crawford was worse and started in Atlanta lmao. No one is saying T-Craw was a beast but especially on his rookie deal he was a serviceable player.

He also retired obviously due to having surgery on two hips in one offseason lol. Dude couldn’t even walk right but yeah at that age he was definitely done.

Not sure what he did to you though lol sounds like it’s personal

Interesting comments were made about Sam Williams -- evidently, he's an extremely physically imposing specimen.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him in TC and hopefully watching him cause havoc in the offensive backfield.

Go find clips of him being successful rushing the passer from inside. Ill wait
Whenever someone says "I'll wait" on a message board, I wonder why.
Are you really going to wait?
Are you going to check and see if a certain someone answers you so you can do something about it?
No stress? No care? Then why wait?

Just questions that enter my mind.

I know it doesnt exist. He had one sack rushing from the dt position his whole college career. Most of the time he was pushed back 3 yards when he lined up inside. Last year he was most effective from the DE position. I think its a dumb move. They are doing it because our interior d line sucks and they tryin to use flex tape on a leak

I watched his tape during the draft process then more after he was drafted. Come on X u kno i dont come here saying anything wild jus to say it. Check it out yourself. Like i said i thought the kid had real promise playing outside. This inside outside is going to take away from his effectiveness as a de now

We're gonna compare him to those guys lol. Chauncey has barely played dt and when he did in college he was ineffective

@Hennessy_King is comically wrong.

Golston lined up inside (DT) on these plays that were all sacks.
3:41 Penn St. (2nd 13:57)
6:01 Penn St. (4th 14:13)
8:36 Indiana (4th 6:34)
8:50 Minnesota (2nd 1:32)
9:49 Penn State (1st 12:43)
10:45 Illinois (4th 14:22)
14:11 Nebraska (4th 1:23)

He lined up inside on these plays and he either recovered a fumble or had an INT.
11:10 Fumble recovery
11:38 INT
12:06 Fumble recovery

There were too many tackles for loss on run plays when he lined up inside to even list.

I'm willing to give Dan Quinn the benefit of the doubt, he would not be moving guys around if he did not feel they could do the job within his defensive system.

this^^^^^ x 100........after what he did with the D last season, why would any fan/posters question his decisions.

Only cowboys fans could watch this and say he was more effective as a 3t than a de. Illinois was a scheme sack with twists across the d line the other dt made the play here to get him free #54. His ints and fumble recoveries at dt he was sitting at the LOS while everyone else was upfield. I didnt see any tackles for loss as a dt unless i missed one. I didnt watch his all 3 years with playing time.
