When was it that you lost faith in Moore as OC?

Why should McCarthy say exactly everything they plan on doing? That would be giving too much information to other teams. McCarthy said they are going to include much more of what he has 30 years of experience in, and that should be enough.
Everything was disclosed initially that Moore was continuing with Garrett’s offense. They thought it was better or easier for Prescott.

They even added McCarthy would need to learn the offense. They exposed it all publicly. Why would they feel a need to hide anything now?

Because McCarthy's 30 years offensive philosophy has been proven to be better than Garrett's. That's why it's best to remain quiet about it.

Ok then if that’s what you want to believe. But they didn’t want to change offense first couple years and haven’t disclosed they are now. Amazing if his offense is so much greater. What are they waiting for?

When do we ever remain quiet about anything ? Lol

McCarthy explained it clearly why he allowed Dak to run Garrett’s offensive philosophy the first couple of seasons, but that is about to change this year in year 3 of McCarthy.

I hope so. We shall see.

I’m curious. Why change now?

And yet he was our last best chance. Parcells was a great coach.
Pfft...nothing but criticizing everyone, constantly yelling, looking like a turned upside down Mexican top, and unable to handle or accept T.O.. What a blowhard wuss.

Moore was a breath of fresh air in the beginning. The passing game immediately went to the next level after Garrett left and Moore was able to open things up. In 2020 the Cowboys had a record breaking offense before Dak went down at 32 points per game. Even last year despite the inconsistent 2nd half they had the #1 scoring offense in the NFL at 30 points per game and the #1 passing game in the NFL yardage wise.

But for me personally it was the 2nd half of the season when teams made some adjustments and he failed to adjust himself. Now granted the Oline went in the toilet and Zeke got hurt which killed the run game. But once teams went into the two deep zone Moore went into a shell. He couldnt seem to adjust to that. Things got basic again. And the fact that he had the perfect opportunity to bench Zeke for the more dynamic Pollard and didnt, that was it for me.

Is there any hope that he learns from his inexperience and blossoms going forward or is he done?

I lost faith in the Cowboys, as a team, after they blew a 1 seed again in 2016.

The Cowboys are the only 1 seed to lose in the divisional round this century, and they've done it both times they've had it.

It's not about the OC. It's the organization. I'll believe they're capable of more when/if I see it. There's no more faith in me.

Agreed. Although I would point out that Dalton was the reason for the fallout in 2020.

There’s adversity every season and I agree it’s tough to get results without you Franchise QB. To be honest offense over the course of the season has been reasonably good, it’s just over the course of the season it has consistently trended in the wrong direction and that doesn’t inspire confidence for getting results in the playoffs.

If we had slow starts and built over the course of the season with the same results I’d actually be quite bullish.

How about scoring 27 at KC?

you know, the same place Dallas scored 9 points

How many would they have scored if Jamar Chase was out and Higgins only lasted to halftime? Oh and while we're at it lets have Mixon playing on one leg... Apples to apples brother..

Hahaha...Ol' 34-32 QUIT!!!
That’s typical trolling tactic.

No HC this down era made a greater impact despite his won loss record. He was like a Savior raising this franchise from the ashes of 5-11 Funk.

It’s difficult to even imagine where we might have continued going if not for Bill. Maybe we would have sunk low enough for Jethro to have had to sell out.

If anything we should blame Bill for saving the Cowboys for Jethro which enabled him to build his new stadium basically placing the nail in the coffin for what we have evolved into which ultimately led to Garrett era.
