The way he played it wouldn't surprise me if it were CTE related. I think he's had issues for years after playing. Pretty terrible.

Easily one of my favorite players in that era. He was limited, but he made some plays and could have been even better if he were not stifled by Julius Jones.

I love this man! He is the reason why my French wife can now name you the Cowboys 53 man roster each year…. Our first date was that Patriots game and she quickly fell in love with the sport after watching that famous 1 yard play by Marion. Still carries two of his cards in her purse for luck. This news is so painfully sad! Wishing his family all the very best.

Yeah he definitely did mention that pretty recently. We didnt know what that meant, but makes you wonder what else could have been done to help him.

Marion was a fun player to watch during his time here, gone too soon.

I still remember when some Dallas media members reported Barber to the league because he didn't like speaking in front of the cameras.
I believed he got fined and the league forced him to speak.
Hopefully the league changes this rule because some guys just aren't cut out for public speaking like Barber wasn't.
