Pollard is not the answer.

What Zeke said is correct. I been saying it also.
Why should anyone be concerned at this point. Wait until after the season is over.

But the Zeke haters can’t understand that simple concept.

All I've seen Pollard do is make plays, with limited opportunities. I don't believe he's commanding big money at this point. I'd like to retain him based on his current contract projections, but that may be a pipe dream. Zeke may take a pay cut or more likely, be cut outright. TP would provide a little continuity in the RB room as well as play making ability.

Not so sure Zeke will be 100% this year either that knee injury could linger for a long time.

So you approve of "negotiating" with pollard? Why? Because you hate Zeke?

You admonish ME for being emotional? I would venture to say you are the one that needs to chill out. You hate zek SO BAD.....it's crazy.....you'd rather give the billion dollar contract to pollard...who's never started in NCAA or nfl...never accomplished even half of what zeke has done.

It's starting to become embarrassing dude....how much zeke ruins your life. You objecting to me objecting to offering tony big contracts...pretty crazy.

I don't hate Tony Pollard. I LOVE having both of these guys on our team. I think our staff has misused both of them. But you will have to excuse me...cut me some slack....for being cautious of handing over #1 duties (with a big "negotiated" contract) to a team like us to a guy who has never been #1.

I had hope you'd offer some reasonable objections to my claims of zeke's accomplishments. But....well....the hate is a bit too strong for any reasonable reply I guess.
Lol you sure do put a lot of thought into that Steve and a lot of assumptions but let’s address them then
1. No one said anything about a large contract for pollard ( so you exaggerate just a bit there )
I have said over and over rbs are a dime a dozen it’s the line that’s the most important part so honestly I don’t necessarily have to have pollard as a number 1
2. Do I hate zeke well I don’t know zeke so no I don’t but he’s over rated by many you especially!
3 . Zekes accomplishments while noteworthy are nothing that couldn’t have been exceeded or equaled by a number of backs again it’s been the line
4. Zeke is long in the tooth in terms of carry’s because early on he’s relied to much on power instead of elusiveness ( which I never saw much of) and his body now shows it he’s nowhere near as quick as pollard

and lastly your approach to zeke has been like this for years this isn’t new we could pull up a number of threads of you over reacting when it comes to him which is you’re right. Just as it is ours to call you on it

this isn’t the same 2014 national championship zeke that you have all postered on your wall give it a rest

my stance is I want to draft a rb to go with pollard . If pollard is too costly let his arse walk as well

There were quite a few plays that Pollard did not make as well. Same for Zeke.
Some fans want to not remember those plays though as they do Zekes’s.

all depends on their agenda.

I want to see both used as they were the 1st 6 games. Not concerned about any contracts or deals at this point.
I want them to retain both of possible depending how they do this season.

Yes, that's my stance as well. I dont hate Zeke, but 2016 was a long time ago. I'd love to see him blow up this year, however odds are against it. I will say he was actually getting the edge last season before he got hurt. I hadn't seen that in awhile.

All depends on the line. I will give him that he blocks better than pollard but 15 mil a year for a fullback on steroids just don’t do it for me but I’ve never been a big zeke guy and there are a number of backs that could have done what he has and maybe more

I stand by my offensive line being the engine that runs this team statements

You constantly bash Dak. What's the difference between hating Dak or hating Zeke? At least Dak has performed. But you go ahead and hate people for not wanting a player whose performance has diminished in recent years.

Problem is he's paid like a bell cow RB, which is now extinct in the NFL....no way he'll get offered an increase. More like a sizable decrease, and hopefully not by the Cowboys. Need to move on from him and get a more elusive set of RBs ...Pollard if he is signable along with a draftee.
Need more than Pollard....he will be exposed as an every down back....tweener like Schultz is at TE.

How many NFL RB's are left for dead only to turn their career around in the later part of their career and return to the productivity they produced early in their career?

.....................................That sound of chirping crickets is deafening.
