This might sound absurd....but I would put Marion in HOF. Maybe his numbers don't deserve it....but damn....I can't name 3 guys that ran as hard. If Terrell Davis can get in...Marion should get some consideration.

I agree with this. He deserves it imo. He was a great RB when he played.

Yeah, he was built different. Hell, they had to change the rules because of how badly he was mauling over defenders lol. Yet another rule change due to a Cowboys player having success.

Loved watching Marion. Will never forget his rookie year that run against the Cardinals. Believe Bledsoe was QB and it was from about the 30 yard line. Took the hand off over the right side and broke multiple tackles down the right side and dove into the end zone. He was the original beast mode in my opinion. RIP Marion.

I know it is ultimately the families decision and it's not a very good thought to know your loved one is being cut up and studied, but I really wish they would have allowed for his brain to be tested for CTE.

He was one of those RB that could get you excited and pump the whole team up with one run. Nothing there and he emerges from the potential tackle and takes off. Just tough. We all remember that run out of the back of the endzone. How many tackles did he break.. just ridiculous. For a minute I thought he was taking it to the house. Lol. Not the fastest but I would not have wanted to tackle him.

Unfortunately with his running style he would be one to study. I wonder about our safety Roy Williams also. He put his head in on some crazy crushing hits..

The Cowboys Franchise should create an "In Memoriam" Wing ---or --' Recognition Display' -- at AT&T Stadium for the scores of Players who made the Dallas Cowboys roster that __then despite their intial status___went on to perform at an intense and accomplished level to become a team legend among Us+We fans.
I am a fan from the Cowboys from their first years in the NFL.
However - I am as appreciative of the role players who contributed alongside of our Icons to the great success throughout the six decades-plus (and counting).
I am so proud of the CZers declaring that Marion Barber III was their Favorite Cowboys Player.
They started out watching this guy give it his all wearing the Dallas Uniform in the NFL.
His career deserves a recognition (among others) in a display = exhibit that fans who attend a game can view and gain knowledge about their gridiron exploits.

RIP Marion Barber III - may his Family and Friends gain some solace from we as Cowboys fans specifically and NFL fans in general.

That was another guy that brought it, at least the first few seasons. He was exciting to watch, but then became burnt toast, and most of us were long ready to move on. Kind of put a damper on his legacy. It started off with a boom though.

it was bc he was adamant in his will that he didn’t want that…based on his style logically seems that CTE played a factor…so sad, he’s younger than many of us

At the very least, he should go into the ROH. Marion was a huge reason why we had success.
