The good the bad and the ugly!!!

I especially want to focus on the good right now. One player who sticks out is #11, YES by all means he gave us a fresh breath in life, gave us a reason to be happy! But, how is he going to grow from last season. Will he have the same stats, will they be better or worse?

Who cares honestly, the guy just has that I WANT IT ALL, no matter what it takes mentally. I wish our front office had that mindset, but I'll save that for another post.

You look at #7, the guy put up AMAZING numbers, and he gets looked over because he gave up yards. Ok, with that said, how does he grow from this, and clean up those small issues. Will he have 11 ints again, who knows.

I'm looking for this team to just stop talking, and play. Who cares about last season, how we didn't use Pollard enough. Maybe this year we use him a lot, possibly pricing himself out of here!

Let's get this season going, let's start with a clean mindset, and get another ring for goodness sake!! Your thoughts..

Those who forget the lessons of the past are bound to repeat past mistakes.

Yeah, I was gonna say I wish I could forget most of the last 27 years

Same owner, same general manager, same rampant nepotism across the board, same coach, same quarterback, same aging Ewok at running back, same weak defensive line that got run over in the playoffs, same old same old. But this is a totally and completely new year.

It's a new team. We should see a lot of last years draft start to get on the field along with this year's haul.
How much of an impact last years and this years draft class has will be huge in determining our success this year
Who will be this years Micah? Who will be a guy who greatly improves his game from last year?

I didn't know our coaching staffs and all the players have been exactly the same 27 years that just historic..must be setting some kind of records :huh:..lmao

give it a rest

this coaching staff has been here 2 years, some 1 yr, its not the same.. most of the payers even from 2016 have been completely turned over, the defense nearly 99% has been turned over since 2019..nothing ever stays the same..id say the least 10 years JJ has given far more power to a group mostly Mcclay and Hes not the daily GM just in title the way he likes it..

fans want to harp on anything past last year and the year ahead are just trolls. You obviously dont get each years one off and just because you fall short doesn't make make it the same. i mean going from 6-10 to 12-5 is positive change..after last season we let go of most of the players causing many of the issues last season regardless of name or fan popularity, id say that positive change..

This isnt even the same team as last year..so again its the same just because we have fallen short in the payoffs, umm its not..

so now we go into this year and hope those changes lead to success.its all you can do one year at a time..

Jerry and co. bank on fans tirelessly “forgetting” about previous years’ failures. That’s what keeps their pocket book filled more than anyone else in sports. Every spring, a new “sense of hope”.

As for me, I’m not going to forget; in fact, I haven’t forgotten the last 26 years worth of failures. I’ll be here to watch every game in 2022, like always, but I have been fooled by this team too damn many times and I won’t be fooled again. They won’t receive my optimism or faith until they do something to deserve it.

Forget 2021? OMG, I CANT!.

My wife left me!.
My dog died!
The IRS froze my bank accounts!
I was diagnosed with a new variant of Covid so rare I was the only person who caught it.
I didn't stock up enough on toilet paper!

And, of course, the Cowboys got eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs!

But not to worry, I still have my vacation in the Ukraine coming up next month, so that should rejuvenate me.

Diggs is the real deal. He manufactured them ints. They weren't happenstance. He baited those qbs. Parsons is the best defender in the league.

'21 season will be remembered by me as how healthy the team was entering the playoffs and the number of turnovers generated by the defense on the year.

Team health and turnovers generated, especially INTS. A HUGE obstacle for most every previous Dallas playoff team.

So I chalk 2021 up to yet another golden opportunity missed.
