I don't even know what this thread is about. The Cowboys were not the best offense in the league. Not even close. Not every team got to play multiple times against teams that played backups. Dallas racked up a ton of yards and around 100 points on those throw away games. Completely useless stats.

That’s a good overall assessment. We no doubt had a good offense in 2021. But we also did not win a playoff game with that same offense. Isn’t that the bottom line?
@xwalker always putting out good stuff here...this shows to me we got RID of the two issues on the o-line. The running game situation is yet to be seen if it can improve as I have little to no hope zeke will incline and not decline this year in production, possibly pricing pollard out of here.

the 5 sacks is why we lost, dak was under pressure for the whole game and was not comfortable at all...shame as McCarthy has tried to prop up our fans for coming to home games but that was no home field advantage at all, I'd much rather play away where our real fans do show up.

Nice info.
The 2 penalty machines are no longer on the team, so hopefully that improves.

They were number 1 7 weeks through 2020 (before Dak went down) and number 2 in 2019. What is the reason for all of those seasons? At some point the excuses run out and you have to admit that it is a very good offense.

They are the opposite of what they were in the 70's, I swear it.

In the 70's the Cowboys beat up on just about every good team in the NFL during the regular season. Even when they weren't that great of an offense, they still beat the elite teams when they should have lost.

No, their flaw was that they could be beaten by any terrible team provided that opponent played a great game and was given as much luck as they needed. Back then, when the Cowboys had a bad they, that meant that they all had a bad game. Fumbles, INT's, penalized at precisely the wrong time. ..

The second half of the season when teams discovered Dak's limitations was much different. If he could have played against the beagles HS team every week Dak would be unstoppable.
I'm hoping beyond hope we see a Dak friendly offense

Nice post. I still stand by my comments that losing La'el, Conner and Randy is addition by subtraction. Collins and Conner were drive killers at the worst times and RG picked the most important game of his career to lay an egg. I feel our offensive line will be better without Conner and Collins and our defense will be better without RG. I'd rather have less talented players that are consistent than splash players that choke in the playoffs and against playoff teams. I feel we'll be a better team with them gone.

The player I really wish could have worked out was Cooper. But it is what it is. But with a more consistent offensive line Dak, Pollard, Zeke and WRs will be better.
