Our O line got manhandled vs the Whiners.

Going into that game, our O line vs the Whiners D line, was my biggest concern. Most of us knew Conner Williams and Biadaz would struggle. We knew if not 100%, Tyron Smith might struggle. We thought Collins and Martin would play well. Martin was good, but Collins was not!

I am glad we got rid of Williams and Collins, and picked up a 1st round O lineman, but we still need to upgrade at Center and possibly LT. Tyron cannot stay healthy and has lost a step when healthy.
F we find a LG and Tyler is moved replacing Tyron we may make it. But yes, we’re not finished unless somebody steps up who is already on the roster

I would agree with you. Tyron has a lot.of wear and tear and young players that were borderline starters. But this oline coach is horrible. I hate to beat a dead horse but this oline looks like their pass blocking on running downs and that's why Zeke us getting hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I think there has been too much emphasis on blocking for Dak that they have lost their fundamental run blocking skills. Either that or Dak changes the play from a pass to a run and the oline doesn't get the message because I never see them blow any defender off the ball or open up any holes.

49ers dominated many lines, they are one of the better DL's in football, but that's not giving a free pass to our OL what so ever. They are in transition and in the midst of a rebuild, this cannot happen overnight, especially when we have to replace a top tier LT due to his lack of durability. They already changed over 2 positions, where Center could be next.

Our o-line and Kellen Moore's absolute refusal or incompetence to effectively scheme a running game for Zeke and Tony.

He'd rather run it three times up the gut then call it a day pass 60 times the rest of the game.

Infuriating.

So find the right people on o-line and scheme...and watch zeke and tony tear them up.
Zeke has nothing left. Why beat a dead horse? Pollard is the better player at this point. If your starting RB is slow, has zero wiggle, and can't read the hole, that will continue to be a problem.

maybe its the biggest question mark. Can smith replace Penalty Williams? well smith was a penalty machine in college. Biadasz is Biadasz, still weak? can't get a push? gets pushed back into the pocket. Will more tape expose Steele? we have to wait and see. there is one thing to step in a game as a replacement, but as a full time starter, you are under the gun weekly and DC looking for any weaknesses to expose you.

Would be nice to pick up a quality interior player as well as a swing tackle in FA.

I still can't figure it out????
We had 4 no 1 picks (Collins would have gone in the 1st rd) and a # 2 pick and all we managed was 1 playoff win?????
Maybe we should look elsewhere for why our best scenario is one and done!!!

We will have to disagree that zeke is toast. We'll get one more year to see. Thanks for supporting the team and players.....Go COWBOYS!

Yep, we lost 2 starters and signed no oline in free agency.
The number one pick will hopefully help, but still did not do enough to shore this unit up.

Here and now...San Francisco won't be dominating either interior line group this season.

Replay the Whiner game and you will change your mind.
That game won't really change his mind in regards to d-line. The D-line allowed 170 yards of rushing, had zero sacks, and had 5 penalties.

Both o-line and d-line were awful that game if were being honest

With the current group, and his third year in the Dallas training facilities...oh, Biadasz with get stronger and better.
