It's been a long time since a Cowboys defensive player was feared and schemed by opposing teams. Go Micah and go Cowboys

Yeah let's see how he handles it this year now that Dorance Armstrong isn't getting all of the attention.

If you don’t think Parsons is a superstar then you might as well stop watching this sport now

bingo. He was only first team all pro his first season

I think he gets even better in year two.

Plus he is tough to scheme to double team since he is moved all over.
No... no... no....
I have heard from sources on this forum he should just be a DE. My opinion, keep moving him all over creating disruption.

Micah Parsons is going to be the face of the defense, maybe even the franchise, for the next decade plus.

The Cowboys struck gold in the 2021 draft even if he was their Plan B.
The fact he was a plan B should tell you everything you need to know about this FO

As much as I want to, I can't put Parsons and superstar in the same sentence......yet! Every defensive coordinator will now have an entire offseason to prepare for him. IF he can repeat and have the same impact, even if his numbers are down, there's no question he's elite. Hell, even he admits his second year may be a bit harder coz they're coming after him.

True but an advantage we have with Parson is the ability to line him up at different spots on the field. I think if he was full time DE it would be easier for OC to adjust to him but the fact that he can move around makes it a much tougher task. He has 13 sacks on the season, 6 coming from the MLB spot. I do agree one season does not make one a super star but given his athletic ability , quickness and the fact he can move positions makes it a tall order for OC

All true but an interesting take I read on Twitter a couple of months ago about how OCs may attack him. The strategy was don't worry about "attack him" but attack the position he vacates. Not sure it makes sense but goes to show the attention he's getting.

That is a 2 edge sword sure you can stop anyone on a football field if your willing to put the resources to stop 1 guy but in doing so you allows others to make plays. When Giants had LT OC had to adjust but others on NY defense stepped up and made names for themselves

Yeah I like to stay away from great athletic traits with spotty production but he seems like an exception to the rule.

It wasn't immediate with Gary -- really didn't emerge until his 3rd year and had Z'Darius Smith not missed 16 games he probably would have just been a nice situational rusher again.

Watching him underperform / underwhelm at Michigan I would have never guessed he'd put it all-together in the NFL...

Actually seems logical if you can do it
That might not be so easy because when a QB changes the play he can change where he’s aligned but the concept seems sound
