..4-1.. Dallas starts off hot. Dak always gets in groove early. It's the mid to late run that concerns me.
Can our team avoid circumstances or events that can derail \hamper a postseason- that has happened in the recent past?
2017 - Elliott suspension, Smith injury
2019 - Prescott injury which led to missing the 15th game @ Eagles to decide division title
2020 - Prescott injury resulting in him missing the last 2/3 of the season
2021 - Prescott, Elliott, Pollard, and Cooper injuries PLUS a poorly prepared playoff team for the home wildcard game

It bugs me to admit we'll likely follow the pattern, especially early-on in the season to end up with 2-3 after our 1st give games. I'm expecting it might well take a while to outgrow our habit of losing to the winning teams and beating the tar out of the bad ones. Let's hope we get lucky.

That never happened. Although his play was so bad that I could understand how one could think he didn't play.

He played great in the 16th game with nothing on the line anymore.

Ok I know it is early but thought I would do this anyway.
I went 5 games deep to include the rams game.
Rams buccs and bengals were the top teams last year in playoffs, so can dallas beat any of those 3?
Then we have the potatos lol my new name for them, and the nyg's who will put up a fight since it is mnf.
Wash I think wentz isnt enough to beat the cowboys.

I think dallas goes 2-3 in this stretch, I dont see them beating any of those top 3, but all 3 are in jerry world
so maybe the can.
what say you guys?

1 Sept. 11 vs. Buccaneers (SNF) 7:20 p.m. CT NBC JERRY DOME

2 Sept. 18 vs. Cincinnati Bengals 3:25 p.m. CBS JERRY DOME

3 Sept. 26 at New York Giants (MNF) 6:15 p.m. ABC / ROAD

4 Oct. 2 vs. Washington Potatos 12 p.m. Fox JERRY DOME

5 Oct. 9 at Los Angeles Rams 3:25 p.m. Fox ROAD
2 and 3

I think 3-2 at worse. I think we beat the Bucs on opening night. New coach and all and our D will be ready - I have faith in our D.

The Bengals is a 50/50 game for me at this point. Their OL was so bad last year and it will depend on how the gel, it is early in the year so D usually has an advantage over O. And how will they respond to last year.

Then our division games we will win.

The Rams will have the advantage so I expect to lose that game.

Yah, Dallas will win one of those 3 games. Especially being at home. I will go with 3-2.

I also think it will be 2-3. The pattern here is we look like world beaters against bad teams and fall apart against teams that know what they're doing.

Until they prove otherwise, I'll go by that.

They do not deserve the benefit of the doubt

You mean we fall apart against teams like San Diego, the Bucs, Eagles twice, Pats? :muttley: 4-1 and nearly beat the Bucs.

Poor troll cant get his facts straight.

I'm saying 4-1. I think we lose to the Rams. The reason is that I think the Boyz start out hot, but everyone figures us out around week 8 or 9. We fail to adjust and skid into the playoffs as a wildcard, losing in the first round yet again. Tell me I'm wrong.

dont forget this is the year another team is supposed to win the div.
So we cant assume dallas will win all the div games.

the 3 good teams , 1 won the SB, 1 lost in SB,and the other lost only to SB champ rams.
I guess they are all beatable, but the dallas offense is missing 5 or 6 key guys from last years offense.
And you have to hope kellen has figured out how to overcome the no blitz defense.
