Serious Question: Is Dak better now than Romo in his prime?

And yet, the Cowboys chose Dak over Romo even after he was healthy.. Clearly the Jones gang understood what you sadly can't comprehend.. Romo is not a winner, and it was time to move on..
Thats ridiculous

The team was rolling and the idnt want to mess with it

How much time have you spent in jail? A response like this tells me you have been there, probably more than once or twice
.

The truly stupid thing is if someone were to actually provide him information- he has no way of knowing it's that person. I mean, does he think people couldn't look up someone else's address?

Not only that, but I'm pretty sure if he were to take a flight and show up on someone's doorstep with the intent of physically assaulting them, said person would be justified in just shooting him. Open door, bang. You could make an easy case that he's deranged and there to harm you. Some people are too old and wise to bother with physical fights.

But my guess is he's just some naive kid who thinks he's showing how tough he is. Never mind that he's getting so unhinged over a sports discussion.

And you think they made the right decision? Haven't the results shown you otherwise?

Geez....Cowboys fans.

Im glad you chose to keep it football... wise choice!!

With that said, I never said any of your stats were wrong, but my point is Romo choked at the BIGGEST moments. He could have thrown gut wrenching picks in the second or third quarter that turned the tide of the game and killed momentum.
Oh you think I would fail not making it about football? Is that a threat? Look kid.....don;t think you are all that. You don't know who you are talking to.

For dak it's a team game but for Romo it's all his fault.

You STILL can't admit you are wrong...like a REAL man would do. Little punk child.

You'd think these people would have a super bowl...but we have NOTHING ....zero. But Dak is SO much more?

They are the same. Romo took risks like a leader does. Dak play the corporate line like a good little boy. We still have nothing.

Peak Romo (2014) was better than Dak’s best thus far. Dak is also the same age Romo was in 2008 and has still yet to hit the traditional “peak” QB years (generally ages 29-35) so it’s possible Dak’s best is yet to come.

Since 2018 Dak has been roughly on par with 2009 Romo, which is pretty damn good.

To be fair, Dak is 13 years younger than Romo. Choosing a 23 year old pro bowl rookie over an oft injured 36 year old isn’t really a choice at all. It doesn’t say much about what they thought of Romo’s relative skill at the time.

Aikman could sit back, order a pizza, call his wife and side girlfriend, take a nap, and then find Irvin down the field. Again, there are maybe 2 other QBs in history that had a team Aikman did and when Aikman lost just a bit of talent, he looked like absolute junk.

Dude is overrated on here.

Aikman also played in an era and in an offense that was not conducive to maximizing QB stats.

I think you’d be surprised what a QB with Aikman’s accuracy would have done in the 2000s under someone like Sean Payton. By most objective measures Aikman was a more gifted athlete and passer than Drew Brees.

Aikman would've blown up in today's game. He had all the tools, and was a true field general.

We are judging our QB's by the wrong criteria and we Cowboys fans, of all people, should know better than that.

I don't care how they do it. I don't care how "great" the whole team was, whether the QB was an elite, gifted, generational NFL icon, or a third team undrafted rookie backup that went "Clint Longley" in the 2nd half of the SB because the starter and real backup forgot how to duck..

What is the one criteria for a great Dallas Cowboys QB? Get that ring!

Romo 0

Prescott 0

........so far.

Are you picking guys from different teams? Those guys were never on the same team?

2016 was LOADED! Let's just admit that and move on.

How was the 16 team loaded, you had a declining g Dez, an old Witten to start
Skill position, Zeke and Dak were rookies, defense had holes all over. How were they loaded?

Correct but running game was not as established and receivers not as deep . But overall I would trust romp much more against pressing defenses , Dak gets rattled and does not read defesnsws well and loses most shootouts .

T.O and Glen / Dez and Witten with Romo was just ad good or better than what we've had the last couple years.

Pretty much this is the day Dak won the competition…✌️

I wasn't one complaining hard about them allowing Dak to continue to start
But Dak never WON the competition.
There was no competition.

Romo got hurt and then they did not allow him to compete for the job.

Romo never won anything of note, and to this point neither has Dak. I guess this is what some have been reduced to,arguing about two quarterbacks that have never won anything of significance.
Exactly. Both won nothing. Its a wash for me.

In my opinion, Romo elevated players more than Dak ever has. Unfortunately, he didn't have the clutch gene like Aikman and Staubach had. It might have been because he had to take chances that those guys didn't have to.
