Some of yous really overestimate Dak as a runner.

He's okay. He can get a few yards here and there if the defense keys on Zeke, or he manages to escape. But he's not doing much damage here. He's no Wilson, Allen, Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson Jackson, etc.

MM and Dak will have a rough season . A reckoning is due . Dak gets another extra chance or 2 due to his contract. MM may be in jeopardy as jerry would want to appease the fanbase. But with Payton getting a 100 mil offer to coach , i don't see jerry bringing Payton here.

I'll say what I've said for years-

It's not encouraging to hear you wish your QB would run more. Basically admitting your playcalling sucks or your QB can't read the field.

Why? There is a shelf life. There is a window. This is football and that window and shelf life is much smaller in the NFL than other sports.

Coaches didnt play scared, but Dak CLEARLY did. I cant tell you how many times I found myself screaming at the TV, "RUN!" But he was clearly not running as it was in his head about hurting that ankle. That was a freak thing, just like Brady blowing out a knee. Sometimes it happens. He needs to do what is best for team to win, and sometimes that means him tucking it and taking off. He also looked SLOW to me. Not sure if that was from his ankle or not. I broke an ankle as a kid in like 4 places.... it did not make me slow.

Prescott is only going to regress from this point. His play dropped off the longer the season went on.

He had some zip in his rookie season but yep he looked real slow last season...both physically and in terms of reading a defense

Fan base will blame it on Cooper, O-line, McCarthy, etc.....Not being able to read the D or step up in the pocket to give you an extra second or the dreaded swing pass when we need 8 yards or........those things have nothing to do with the regression!

Should Dallas fail I will blame it on the areas that played poorly, should that be OL, run defense coaching and yes play of the QB. That is not an excuse it is looking at what took place and calling it out. I think our run defense was unable to stop the 49er leaving them in excellent down and distance situation, I don't think Dak played poor but I do think he did not play well enough to win. I think the OL in the 49ers game got manhandled sacking the QB 5 times and putting pressure on him just as 49er man handled the GB packers and Aaron Rodgers in which they sacked him 5 times and hurried him through out the game, These are not excuses they are reality.

Not in recent history and none of that core SB team is still there.

Perhaps you don’t understand the criteria of recent history and trends?

I think 1 SB does not make a dynasty. Every year we have a new SB champ and you guys start up with that is how you do it when the reality is different teams do it different way, there is no 1 way to get to a SB and win it.

Well put.

The game went pretty much as most analysts predicted. We couldn’t stop their running game and they put pressure on our QB.
