McGovern is gonna play quite a bit of LG this season. No way Tyron plays more than 10 games.

Devastating news! I also understand that that Tyler Smith farted in the jacuzzi and not only carbonated the water but also flooded the entire locker room.

If there is one thing that is certain and you can hang your hat on, it is that Tyler Smith will be getting more snaps than even he will want to see this summer.

You can always get away with one in the jacuzzi, just turn on the jets to cover the micro burst. :D

You don't worry till the season starts. He should get looks at LG and LT but don't read into anything till the season starts.

The year before last there were multiple injuries to the OL and he kept things together to the point of praise.

Its as though just obtaining a coach, somehow that is supposed to auto correct a position in need of serious repair immediately.
Philbin has a lot more to work with now and want to see how this OL starts to shape now that he has some pieces to work with.
When you look at this roster, the youth and talent that has been added, this season will define the coaches.

One day of mini camp does not make a season or certainly not a career. We fans just need to take a deep breath and wait until mid August. Could be a lot of reasons for him being with the second unit at this time. One is the vet may be having a good run currently; another is Smith is still climbing the steep learning curve; a third may be the coaches are trying to get Tyler's attention in hopes he will work even harder to earn his spot as a starter. We can only guess at this time and we probably as a group of posters may never guess the true answer. In August we will all have a good grasp on Tyler as a rookie player.

Did Parsons "run with the ones" 1st day of mini camp last year?
Did Tyron 10 yes ago?
