Shame. Helman was one of my favorite people on the podcasts. He is one of the few that doesn’t slurp the team no matter what they do.

they won’t be as good without him.
what?!!!! Really? I think u may have him confused with Bryan Broaddus.

Tiny Jim licked Jerrys taint quite well 2 be here 9 years. Mike Fisher and Mickey Spags are with him on the Mount Rushmore of Jerryites. No one spun a better yarn than Dave, except for Mike Fisher and Mick. My 4 beta's would be Eagleton,Helman,Cavanaugh,Spags, I know Jeff isnt employed by them anymore s...he got a bit weird. At least Fish has balls.

David Helman was pretty good. He definitely has earned his new job with Fox Sports. Wish him the very best. Good news is he will still be covering the Cowboys.
Eventually we will Hate Tiny Jim!:lmao2:

Much deserved for this exceptional person. I always enjoyed David's insight but I could tell he's held back so much in respect for DC.com. Hopefully now he can go full monty

Well I hope I am proven wrong about him. I wanna be wrong. For far too long, we have had team reporters enabling Jerry and Stephen for their ineptitude. Mike Fisher may be at the head of the class on that. Mickey is right there 2.Which is why I have much respect for Bryan Broaddus. He bucked up to them and told the truth. He was fired for that I guess or he walked away. My understanding is he ruffled Mike Fishers feathers as well because BB spoke out about the Jones family .. BIG KUDOS 2 him. Truth is great medicine they say.

I don't agree. The guy called them out for getting rid of Cooper and called out the front office multiple times.

I don't care if you did not like the guy and don't understand why you care if others liked him.
meh. He wasnt as bad as Mickey.

We do agree on 1 thing. Amari and the narrative they created was BS. MADE^. This was concocted and schemed by the Joneses and Mike Fisher was the delivery boy for it. Fish was in on it. I never will understand why we ran him away like we did. Maybe he spoke up.

Dave criticized what he perceived as poor decisions and poor performance all the time.
Little lord Fontleroy was snarky and thought he was the brightest mind in the room. Maybe thats why he irked me. I don't hate the guy.. Its a culture of enabling in Dallas. Wish we had more guys in Dallas like Bryan Broaddus. HE'S UNAFRAID. Nick Eatman as well. He isnt scared.

That's too bad. I enjoyed his takes.

I used to enjoy both The Break and Talkin' Cowboys. I cannot do Talkin' Cowboys anymore due to their cast, so I was down to just The Break. I hope they at least get a decent replacement for him.

The longer you live the more you realise nothing lasts forever.

That is the only thing she has going for her... Her random thoughts (that are rarely on topic to what the others are talking about) gets me rolling laughing every time I listen to her.

Laughing is one reaction. Mine is an eye roll waiting for time to stop being wasted.

Agreed. The Break is the only one I listen to regularly. I liked Derek, Nick and Dave. Hopefully that can get a good replacement.

Gonna miss Dave ..... He was not scared to call a spade a spade.

He definitely got a bit bolder with not going along with the company line in the last year or so. I think he knew he was moving on and wouldn't have to worry about criticizing the team, although he was usually fair.

I always found Dave to be more self deprecating than anything else. Which is my kind of humor.
