I totally agree with Dak's being a fair assessment. Wilson's rating seems a reflection of last year, mixed with his entire career. :huh:

Seems like Brady got underassessed somewhat, as well.

Rewatched the DAL-TB game last night. Brady had 2 intentional groundings at the end of that game. That was garbage the refs let him do that. Also Diggs was inches away from winning the game with a pick on the last drive.

That would mean that Dak outplayed Brady in that game though. Some here blame him for the loss. I am really confused.

Some get riled up Dak it not higher, some get riled up Dak is not lower.

Some are probably mad that Dak is higher than Jackson and in the top 10. Maybe Cousins should be at 10 instead of Jackson. Or Cousins at 9, Dak at 10. It doesn't really matter.

Dak is our QB and that is who I root for, until he is replaced, then I root for that QB.

Well said!! I think the rankings are pretty much spot on. Dak has been a top 10 quarterback since he's been in the league. I think its hilarious how a handful of "Cowboys fans" actually root against their own starting quarterback. When Dak plays well, they aren't really happy and they stay off of this forum until the next time Dak has a bad game or we lose, then they'll come back that whole week after a loss and post and start threads everyday. Dak could have a damn near perfect game but the defense could give up 500 yards in the air and 250 on the ground and those specific "Cowboys fans" would STILL blame Dak for the loss.

Alot of knowledgeable fans here post legitimate gripes and disappointing things Dak has done and Dak definitely has to take a bigger step this year, no question. But there are one or two people here who dislike Dak, no matter how well he plays because their REAL problem with him has nothing to do with football or on-field production, i promise you.

Good to see Simms has an opinion that a dollar will get you a cup of coffee. I will say the same thing I did about Romo until or unless Dak is able to lead this team to a SB he will be dogged by some fans. It really is that simple.

I agree. Dak can throw for 500 yards and 5 TDs and lose and it will be his fault for "not doing it sooner'. The grade for garbage time seems to be ever changing. My opinion on garbage time is if you put your team in a position to win the game after going down those stats are not garbage stats. There are many here who would much rather be "right" than to see the cowboys win. Heck theres people here who I wont name that hated the Parsons pick and went against it until they saw him play. Then said "well i didnt know he could rush the passer like that, 11 other teams agreed with me " lol. Its the way this board is.

If Rodgers still had Adams, I would agree but he is unknown without his go to guy. Same with Prescott and Mahomes.

To be fair, he has dramatically improved since his rookie year.
That was the hope when he was drafted.
A fairly raw talent with huge upside.

He's just not the same player at all. Way better now.

There are 2 groups here.
The first group's opinions sound more like Jimmy Johnson, Kurt Warner and Troy Aikman in their discussion of Dak's play. Since those 3 have unquestionable credibility in discussing Dak's play my opinion aligns with theirs as well.

And then there's the other group here.

Allen couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in his first couple of years. To his credit, he has improved his accurately immensely.
