Nope

this isnt just wind this is record winds and causing poor air quality and visibility as reported by weather people there's a dust haze etc.
The Sahara dust and let's throw in some record high temps with the wind. Just go outside and look and you can tell visibility is lower than usual.

So is McCarthy telling us there is nothing they could have done with the other two days to improve as a football team? Or was it that there as so many guys being held of of practice due to injuries that they could not hold an effective practice?

I wonder what the Eagles and Giants will do with their 3 days of mini-camp.

we’re that good

Did I just really read that they cut it from a 3 day mini camp to a 1 day camp because they felt they crossed the finish line?

Did I really just read that?

The softness of this organization literally continues to surprise me.

It's little things like this, the shortcuts, the days off, the babying of player that is the reason we are considered a joke of a franchise now.
Look to the owners box... Like I repeatedly keep saying.

The only thing he wanted to accomplish was putting in the offense and defense. 1 day of actual man on man practice doesn’t mean the team only met in class and drills 1 day. If during the 1 day of traditional practice it looked like the team had mastered the offensive and defensive plays, seems to me like a reward for working on their own, knowing the playbook etc.

Two more days wasn’t necessarily going to develop something that would then stay perfect during 5 weeks away. Skills, technique, and chemistry is for training camp and then preseason. Minicamp is basically introductions and learning. Now they each have individual workouts and studying to do until training camp.

Maybe this is a sign that finding the right kind of self motivated and committed guys actually worked and they don’t need to hammer a bunch of dumb, lazy players with the same stuff over and over.

It's just 3 days of work...

The babies can't even be bothered to do 3 days of work?

How hard do you think they’re working in these mini camps? Do you imagine the qb’s out there running the Oklahoma drill against the linebackers?

Hey man! It was windy! Sheesh...
Who can work in the wind? You sir, are a slave driver!

Its pretty simple stuff and not complicated. When its windy it harder to complete passes, tell who can catch and who cant, who can throw, if the kicker is good or not and the punter. Not rocket science.

Now when its windy one or two days no big deal but if its windy half the time, it makes it hard to make an analysis in things like the passing game.

I thought they had an indoor facility to practice in? Or at least do some brain work in the classroom. Something! But, nope...don't want to over work these poor rich brats.
And as you can see from some of our fans here they fully support this babying of players.

This fanbase has fallen so far since the 90s.

Yep. If the Cowboys were smart, they would have built an indoor facility to get some work in when the weather doesn't cooperate... oh wait...

There was a report a few days ago that Belichick cancelled mini camp...

I don't know what the reason was. I don't think it ever came out, did it?

But them and 2 other teams were fined and the Cowboys fines were much less sever than the other teams that were fined.
Think they were fined and lost OTA time. Point is, this isn't cap cupcake that Wade used to run.
