I'm sure the club gets the details of this complaint and for the HC to do the same thing for a second year in a row is inexcusable. Someone needs to hold that overpaid paperweight accountable

Did you read what they got hit for last year. Things like tempo, intensity, contact and going to the ground. It’s not like he had them out there doing Oklahoma drills. Earlier in the thread I did get a laugh out of us doing it again. Maybe we go for a 3 peat next year.

Sorry Dre. This one was more descriptive so it has more traction. You have to know the nuance of gaining "outrage" publicity for your thread. This one did it better. Did you not see the 'spiracy folk flock to this thread and not the other? They were drawn here like moths to florescent lighting. I don't think there are rules against bumping your own thread 90 times a day though.

No need to bump a thread.

Doesn't matter. He's in charge or he is atleast paid to be. It's cost them another practice, one they need alot more than these incidental contacts. Either way we haven't had this level of ignorance or incompetence since Campo.

They are responsible for football operations
The buck stops there.

well, this was an on field issue. Do we want the jones family in the office or on the field? But yeah I’m fine throwing some blame on jerry. Maybe this wouldn’t have happened if he wasn’t planning for a soccer game.

And Archer is known for not having bias ever? I mean, working in the media and all where attention/publicity is the name of the game.

So to even have a working theory of "bias" in this case, please tell me which of the following information you have:

1. The NFL's standard for practices at OTAs
2. What the Cowboys allegedly did to violate the NFL's standard
3. Examples of other teams doing the same prohibited actions the Cowboys are being fined for, yet not being fined themselves

If you have any semblance of any of those things, you'd be on your way to showing bias in this case. Do you have any? Oh wait, let me add one more choice:

4. None of the freakin' above so I'll just whine "victim" with no basis whatsoever

So please tell me "4," er, I mean state which you have so I can examine your claims for accuracy.
Well. They got fined for too much contact in OTAS. After the “nfl” viewed the recordings of the practices.
According to archer (who’s been watching off season practices since 1997) there was no difference in anything he’s ever seen.

please continue to rant about how there is no possibility of bias against certain teams errrr owners.

but is it really practice if they can’t be intense, have contact, and players hitting the ground? But I get your point.

How badly does anyone need these off-season camps if no contact, even in shorts and no shoulder pads, is allowed. We went with one instead of 3 of these sessions this year. So why would anyone with the Cowboys care that we are having one session of minicamp cut next year. Maybe we prefer one hard, competitive practice over 3 walkthroughs with 7 on 7 drills.

Certain people like to complain , these guys were working too hard. Maybe Mike knew it and canceled the last 2 days

Make camp cupcakier?

All stuff we don't know and make assumptions.
Probably the same on the NFL side.

Yes. Even though they are more physical than allowed it's still less physical than what would happen during a normal physical ota practice. They lose the opportunity to be more physical by being careless in what goes on. That's not doing anyone any favors

Because the cba doesn't allow these coaches enough time as it is. Cutting that time short is stupid.

So in other words, no information then. What a media guy says is good enough for you. Just like he'd want. The media knows how to tap into paranoia plus they know almost no one will go investigating for themselves. Easy peasy.

I sometimes wonder about the Jerry/Goodell relationship and Jerry's need for credit.

As much as I can't stand him for insisting on having himself and his unqualified kids run the Cowboys, I'd wager that Jerry was a very huge part of growing the NFL into what it is.

I'm that much in awe of him as a businessman. Goodell is really just a puppet to the owners and he hasn't been kind to Jerry on several things.

Not sure that sits all that well with him.
