You are conflating ability and their age. Of course i would take those guys over dak to build a team with due to their age. But if you look at the stats and metrics with individual qb performance. Dak is better.

The stats say Ryan Fitzpatrick is better than Aikman and Staubach.

Hell stat wise since 2016 Cousins has equal if not slightly better stats and that with being on the disastrous Washington team for a couple years.

Lots of “expert” lists put out by people who never even played. Much less made it to the nfl. Just another opinion. Doesn’t affect anything.

How many NFL franchises have you played for?

Trying to discredit someone because they weren't a great NFL QB is a weird angle to take, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Its like that for every sport. You cannot compare eras. You compare players in an era. Romo was considered a top 10 qb in 2014 then never achieved that status after that. Dak is a top 10 qb in the league right now.

Thats a fair argument but the arm talent alone on Herbert and I put him above Dak. And I love dak lol. But some throws I saw herbert make last season were jaw dropping.

How about in comp %, epa, average air yards per attempt? Yards and tds dont tell the story. You have to look at advanced metrics and analytics.

Its not about being 4th round GOATS. Its about judging fairly. Many of you judge unfairly and I notice how many of you conveniently ignore the stats and production AT THIS POINT IN HIS CAREER, then compare it to other quarterbacks who have more years, a broader body of work, and are much older.

Its hilarious to see, but its also dumb to compare 5 years of experience to 12 and 15 years of experience.

Yes and herbert made some dumb decisions too relying on that arm talent. I never said dak had a better arm but daks average air yards per attempt is half a yard better than herberts with and 3% higher comp %. Herbert is going to be better than dak in the future he just isnt at this moment

But there are one or two people here who dislike Dak, no matter how well he plays because their REAL problem with him has nothing to do with football or on-field production, i promise you.

Substitute Romo for Dak in your thread and we've seen this same phenomenon for years. Cowboy fans are more nonsensical regarding their own players than opponent fans are. Both Dak and Romo garner a ton more respect from outsiders that our own in-house extremists.

And the worst ones are the Cowboys fans who swear "I was always a big supporter of (fill in the blank)"......BUT.....and then go on to prove their insincerity with multiple paragraphs of "but he's a choker, sucks, etc" garbage.

Joe Burrow - Career Completion % - 68%
Joe Burrow - Career YPA - 7.9
Joe Burrow - EPA last year - +190

Dak - Career Completion % - 66%
Dak - 7.6
Dak - EPA last year +131

What stats are you looking at to say Dak is better than Burrow?

That would be the Cowboys franchise record.

Justin Herbert didn't start for one week in his rookie season. He started the second week and kept his starting job since.
