Similar to them getting Harris last year. Wont be a top end starter, but should still give some quality play. He has missed alot of time though

So the usuals will whine we didn’t sign him, just because they are desperate to get some player signed.
Then they will turn on him and say, why did Jerry pay this bum that much.

Or mid season say, this FO sucks why did they sign this guy. You all know the routine and drill.

Don't want to upgrade the roster to much because it might enable Dallas to win enough games this season to justify keeping Mike McCarthy instead of replacing him with Sean Payton......Jerry has a plan!!

He is an average safety at this juncture, we do have 3 quality safeties already, could use another, but not a major need at this moment.
