I live in Wisconsin. He and New Orleans Saints tackle Ryan Ramzek put on a kids camp up here today. Biadasz was in T-shirt and shorts. Looked a little bigger up top to me but a whole lot more in shape. Didnt see much gut on him at all for a big guy.

Only 24. Still growing into his physical prime.

First of all..............Only problem Biadasz had last year was that it was really his rookie season in the NFL. He equited himself well considering.

He also isnt "up to his neck in competition". Farniok is a 7th round pick from last year and they brought in a couple undrafted FA's. Nothing stiff about it.

I fully expected the kid to get stronger in only his 2nd real offseason in the NFL. Biadasz came out of college injured and that was the Pandemic year so he got little in the way of coaching and strength and conditioning coaching. For all intense and purposes, this is his 2nd year.

2020 was his rookie year, any way you slice it. Last year was his second, in which he wasn't nearly ready to present himself well. This will be his 3rd season, in which he'll be competing for his job with Farniok and will also have his hands full to keep Alec Lindstrom from replacing him.

He was nowhere near prepared to take over as a starter. Hopefully, he'll report to TC better prepared to defend his job as the starter. He'll be seriously tested to retain his job as a starter. It's not like the Cowboys staff didn't notice his poor performance last year.

Fortunately, he's reportedly in better shape this year. He was physically ill suited in year 2 to perform as a starter. It was on him to report out of shape last year and not perform capably. Hopefully, he'll be better prepared to defend his job as a starter this season.

Underrated. Steele too. They’ll get their due this year as long as our rookie works out and Tyron stays healthy.

Is this like explaining that he needs to keep his pad level down and anticipate double moves...in better shape?

Competition is encouraged in camp and is how younger players earn their ways to stronger recognition. Showing up better. He's going up against other players and not against doubting fan's stereotypes.

I'm with you, he was a top center in the college ranks, had his 'baptism of fire'; and now is in much better shape following two years of covind disruptions. Keep your pad levels down now, Son, and dominate!

I think it's something that was sorely needed for Biadasz to recover from his problems of last year. He'll be up to his neck in hard competition this year to overcome the challenges of several players. I'm glad to hear that he's gotten himself in better shape and hopeful he'll benefit greatly from that being the case. There's nothing like stiff competition to bring out the best in a player. I felt like he was physically too soft in the past, to be honest. Thanks for the information. It's good news to read that.

- We really did not have a backup for him last year.
What if there were a serious injury to Biadasz ?

- Williams had been tried at center with OL coach Philibin, and that collapsed.
Philibin was reluctant to try McGovern at center, until it was more forced.
Matt Farniok was a rookie who barely even played center at Nebraska.

- And i'm not sure we have serious competition vs Biadasz right now.
We've brought in two undrafted rookies in Lindstrom, Emery,.. but there must be a reason why they went undrafted.

- But he may be a center comparable to Eagles Pro Bowl center Jason Kelcie, a finesse type that relies more heavily
on keen positioning, off ball quickness, and ability to get to 2nd level, a giant knack and high IQ for the position.

- Biadasz may not be a big strength guy .But it's important that he has play strength. Functional strength.
Some guys can bench press the world, but cannot translate it to the playing field.

- You have to have a center than can more than hold his own vs 3-4 NT, and you want him reacting and adjusting well
and quickly to stunt games up front.

- Hopefully he's improved those wild, high shotgun snaps, .and he's not falling off blocks in run game, and he's not
getting out of position on single block pass rushes.

You're still yapping like a sore loser? Everyone saw the performance results last year from Biadasz, and it wasn't good. You'd better believe there is sound competition for the starting Center's job, and both Mike McCarthy and Stephen Jones verified that at the same time in front of the media cameras last month, so go cry in the corner by yourself because there definitely is a major competition that's going to go on for the starting Center spot this training camp and preseason. You're starting to sound just as bad as the anti-Dakkers.

You can lie all you want buddy, you and I know you predicted Biadasz would lose his job to 3 different guys. And you are doing it again this year and you will lose again. You can bet that this continue angle for you to completely lie, I will never let you forget it.

You have been dead wrong about Biadasz from day one and that will continue again this season.

Already making excuses and pointing fingers, I see, along with lies. Fragile heart can't handle the 100% sound competition that both Mike McCarthy and Stephen Jones both verified last month in front of the media about the starting Center spot?

There is NO sound competition buddy. I find it hilarious you think UDFA's and Farniok are legitimate competition for Biadasz. Your analysis continue to be garbage, your lies notwithstanding.

Clearly you dont know the history of the kid. Maybe thats why you have been so wrong about him up until now. Biadasz will continue to make a mockery out of guys like you as he will once again easily beat out all laughable UDFA's and 7th round picks.

But you can keep dreaming. Better hope for an Injury. Thats the only way the young and promising Biadasz loses his job.

Wasn't he a Remington award winner? Remind me again what that is awarded for.

I am skeptical on this team mainly based on the fact they have now gone and not done anything of note in FA again and hope that a bunch of rooks are going to come into the league and light it on fire. I also need to see some consistency from Dak, and a coach that tells Jerry to shove it and plays Pollard more.

I am honestly chomping at the bit to see Parsons in year 2. I think you and I were possibly the only 2 that wanted him badly enough that we would have taken him at 5th overall when we were picking there. So you and I will always have that haha

Yes, in 2019 at Wisconsen he won the Remington award as the best center in college football and was a unanimous All-American. He had an issue with his hip, however, and also needed shoulder surgery so that dropped him down to the 4th round of the draft. He was coming off the surgery that first offseason we drafted him. That was also the pandemic year so he got little coaching and probably wasnt able to do much with the strength and conditioning. It was really a redshirt year in the NFL as he plaed a few games in the middle of the season then got hurt again.

last year was really his first full offseason not being hurt and started every game with admirable, but not great results. If the kid spent a lot of time in the weight room and worked on his strength its really all he needs. He will probably also benefit from not having Williams next to him on the line.
