He's a number 2 at best. T.O. was a #1. He will be good but Not a number one. He does have a cute girl so I will be watching her eat popcorn.

Putting up numbers isn’t the almighty measuring stick. Even James McKnight and Laurent Robinson put up big numbers when they had to be a #1 due to injuries.

Whilst the drops are down to him, some of the issues of YAC can be attributed to Dak's inability to put a ball in front of the slot runner when running a slant....tape shows that Dak passes to the man (or just behind), if he's able to throw in front of the WR it'll give him momentum.

Hopefully, Dak will regain confidence in putting the ball in areas that favors the receivers.

Lamb just made the Pro Bowl, after all, & led Dallas in receiving with 79 catches for 1,102 yards. While drops have undermined his first two years in the league, Lamb has more than flashed his elite potential. His 13.9 yards per catch in 2021 were also a team-high.

Even worse , the guy who is throwing to him only will throw to him if he has 5 yard separation ( I Kid, but with reason) now that Lamb is the focus of opposing defenses , that would be difficult .

Hope Washington and Tolbert can stretch the defenses so that Lamb cannot be consistently covered and Schultz will get some fair share of dump offs , if Pollard can be involved also then it will be difficult to contain the offense. of course the OL has to give time for the QB to process all of these.
