what a brutal game this was to watch in 94. three turnovers at the start of the game. instant replay might have overturned one of the turnovers today. hard loss if the cowboys could have played this game in dallas maybe we could have won.

One of Aikmans better games actually. BS non PI call on Deion and Irvin and we win that game.

right i mean the way this place is with our current teams sloppy play, suspect right before half play calls, Troy INT in the 3rd to sanders, for FOUR TOs

i mean they played as bad as nay recent cowboys' teams in the playoffs. I realize its a NFCCG but it was brutal to watch. I mean ..if this place was on during this it would break the internet,,fans forget some ugly games over the last 4 decades in the payoffs and it wasnt all Dak or romo lol

Looks like a Dak or Romo game. LOL Romo throw a bunch of TOs, or Dak just let the lead get out of hand, then try and come back, have one of those miracle 2nd halves, usually with some high drama because never had any business winning the game to begin with based on first half.

Jimmy made this team mentally tough. Just like Parcells. It's what I miss.

I just got done spending the afternoon painting the second floor of a two-bedroom apartment on a sticky 90 degree day.

Still better than re-watching that game.

My philosophy is it's futile to play the "what if" game. It's impossible to know what would have been had any of the circumstances in that situation been different and you'll drive yourself mad trying to analyze it. I leave history alone and accept what was. But I do have my opinion about how good that Cowboys team was. IMO, the team just had a bad day, which resulted in losing a game they should have won. I believe that particular version of the team was the best of the '90s Cowboys teams. The bad taste in the mouth that that loss to SF imparted, left little doubt in my mind that the Cowboys would be World Champs once again the following year.

I just got done mixing 200 pounds of concrete and pouring it into makeshift forms around my shed, to keep water from rotting out the walls...in 90° humid weather, and I feel the same way!

Jimmy would have had them ready to play.
We could have won 4 SB's in a row...

Not likely. The Cowboys have never won a playoff game where the opponent scored 30 or more points.

There are reasons for that, and they manifested themselves on that day.

NO, you are right. I rewatched the game. Horrid game by Aikman. He simply couldnt get the job done throwing it over 40 times. 1 TD and 3 picks.

They threw up some crazy stat too. At the time of that NFC championship game, Aikman hadnt thrown a 4th quarter TD pass in 32 consecutive games.

Just shows how he never had to dp much of anything for that offense. It was all Emmitt and the run game.

Score 24-28 points and hand the ball to Emmitt.

We should have won in 94 and would have easily rolled the Chargers in the Super Bowl but we would have lost to them in 95 had the Packers not done the same thing to them that they did to us.
