I think Tretter will find a job, but it will be a team that has a bigger hole at center than Dallas does.

Probably like Miami, who is experimenting with Connor Williams at center for now.

Agreed.

With his injuries and being a vet, I see him signing closer to the end of camp

Seems like a lot of fans are looking for a player for us to spend money on. Does the name Pollard ring a bell? It's the last year of his rookie deal and he might want a bit of a raise.
That’s why I don’t get the spend it if you have it crowd
It’s not just pollard but several guys who contracts get higher over next couple years on top of those you have to sign in next couple years
Prices are going up and that’s why managing the cap long term, not every year is important. Just like managing comp picks. You have to managing the cap over 3-4 years not just one

Dak is owed $85 million until 2024. He got 75 million last year. If we can't sign guys like a Pollard, Diggs, Parsons... You will know why.

QB’s cost a lot
But spending just to spend is silly
We have 20 plus mil we can carry over
Contracts all go up and you should be happy we have a QB or guys like Diggs, parsons and lamb wouldn’t matter. I don’t think they will extend pollard anyway
I think they learned the lesson with Zeke on paying a huge, long contract to a RB
Dak’s owed over next two years is about 32 mil combined in salary
Then 34 mil for 2024 including his roster bonus for 2024.

Tretter is a union rabble rouser and the Cowboys aren't signing anyone until the season starts. They want to see what they already have and by signing a player when the season starts means you dont have to pay them a guaranteed salary.

I’m not really looking to spend money but we lost games last year because the left guard and center got penalties over and over. I guess we going back at it with Tyler but he’s better than Connor Williams thank god that’s over with and yes we are pretty weak at wr compared to last year. Cooper was underrated and I would prefer to replace him but believe we can go at it with what we got. Pollard needs to be used like deebo. There’s no reason he comes off the field ever

our line was ranked #1 at times last year? Do you watch the games or talk on here? Jc tretter, pro bowl center from Cleveland.
Still unsigned JC Tretter from Cleveland.
Still available JC Tretter from Cleveland.

At times? LOL

Is that your angle? Why do you think everyone including the FO has been saying that the Oline was the #1 offseason priority?

Do you watch the games or just read PFF?

If there is an injury in camp is the only way Dallas should bring any of these players in.

I believe Tretter and Jones are done. OBJ won't be available till November. And Fuller is always hurt. Had him a few years back in fantasy, always hurt.

Not really great options.
totally agree fans still overacting to ac and Wilson leaving. lets let the WRs on this roster now get reps let them show up before we decide what we need/..we only need to get by until Gallup returns maybe 4 games and im sure they can cover that up with scheme etc..
