Give Zeke 25-30 carries a game and he will lead the league in rushing. He is still a battering ram and and a valuable blitz killer.

Dont need anyone to lead the league in rushing. What we need are running backs that can dominate in the run game, make big plays and keep the defense honest. We need playmakers.

Zeke is no longer a play maker. He is a guy, as you said, that needs 25-30 carries to get 100 yards. That is NOT domination. And often times we fall behind in game because he simply cant get the job done.

We also dont need ONE GUY. Perfectly fine with 2 or 3 backs rotating in with different skills. WE also need our backs to catch the ball out of the backfield and make plays.

Zeke would be a totally different RB if he played with a top tier QB. Every defense right now knows that if they stop Zeke Daks not carrying the team. If we traded him to GB KC, TB, or most any other team that made the playoffs except the 49ers he would be a much better RB.

Thank you for confirming you hate Zeke even if you are full of crap.
You're so wrong. Butthurt and emotional little fan. Boo Hoo Hoo...JoeKing is upset because Zeke might not be here after this 2022 season. I expected you to deal with that possibility like a champ. Instead, you're dealing with it like a chump.

Both excel at different things. Elliott is a better between the tackles runner while Pollard has more burst/speed. Elliott's draft day talent is very much evaporating though and the gap between the talent is closing quickly.

Maybe Elliott has one more great season in him, but this is a player who has been in the league for nearly 7 seasons now. He's reaching the shelf life for an RB that had heavy use since college (less recently). Nature of the position.

Well one is explosive and makes plays. He is a better value. Seems to stay healthy and in shape. Seems to be getting better. The other runs like he is in quicksand. Can’t play 4 quarters. Gets hurt a lot. Comes up small in big games. Really expensive and getting worse every year.

I voted for the first guy.

Zeke doesn’t get hurt a lot. Last season was the only time I can remember him being hampered by an injury and he still played.

and I believe TP has missed more games to injury than Zeke, on a lot fewer touches. I am happy to have both and wish the OC could be smart in using them together.

With both healthy, I'll grudgingly take Zeke.

Pollard is Christian McCaffrey lite. He's going to give you pizzazz and flash, but he won't make it through the season.
Zeke is built for pounding. He's no longer a breakaway back. But if the defense continues to play the way it did last season and even improves, Zeke can be to Dak what Leonard Fournette was to Brady (Please don't even go there with the "You're comparing Dak to Brady" arguments. Interpret my comment in its proper context).

I think we can win with solid defense, and ground and pound with a sprinkle of an aerial attack.

For Dak you said our o-line disintegrated. But for Zeke...he just sucks.

Then you strut around acting like your opinion is so much more credible than anyone else.

Depends on which Elliott we get.
Depends on which o-line and Dak we get.

if the defense can just key on Zeke.....um yes they have and have said so.....then we'll lose.

If the oline can be consistent and competent and Dak is a run pass threat...zeke and tony will feed.

Oh...wow...his draft day talent evaporating....7 years later? Wow...that's is great techno speak! Excellent!

One of the very best NFL rookie running back seasons ever.....talent evaporating. That is...well....gosh.......

What other players have "draft day talent evaporation"?

Please watch their 2021 highlight reels before voting. Thank you.

Ezekiel Elliott 2021 highlights

Tony Pollard 2021 highlights

We do need both. And a competent OC to design a killer running game and not an NCAA Mountain West passing game.

Pollard should play receiver.
Highlight videos don't often show crucial plays where they block and pick up the blitz. They only cover runs....

Zeke also softens them up.

So Zeke. But is he worth is cap hit? No.

Pollard should play receiver. https://hennythemoor.org/2022/06/17/why-tony-pollard-should-of-been-a-slot-receiver-from-day-1/
