What draft picks would you give up for Sean Payton?

WHAT makes Payton soooooo much better than McCarthy? I'm not giving up jack crap to replace a guy, with a guy, that has the same freaking resume. The media person(s) that came up with this idea, just wanting people to tune in. It was a click bait question and suggestion.

I'll never understand the fascination with Payton. His record with a future HOF QB is similar to the guy already coaching the Cowboys.

How about if McCarthy fails we try something different. Let’s try to lure Luke Fickell here or something, instead of hiring another NFL HC that hasn’t won a Super Bowl in a decade despite having a 1st ballot HOF QB on the roster.

I think Payton is a better coach than McCarthy, but the gap between them isn’t that wide.

I wouldn’t give up a single draft pick for any HC especially one that’s burned out and has won the same number of Super Bowls as the HC we currently have. McCarthy’s Super Bowl win was more recent than Sean Payton’s Super Bowl win. Sean Payton is only one game over 500 in the playoffs and he had a Hall of Fame QB.

The starting point? I can’t imagine any team being stupid enough to even start with that and add to it. Lol A head coach is important to winning but if I’m going to give up two first round picks and then some it’s going to be for a QB. The games are won by the players.

What is the difference between working for Jerry or Ross? The answer is nothing. A bad owner is a bad owner. Payton isn't coming here.

As long as Jerry is running the team it’s not going to make any difference who the head coach is. We’re seeing the same problems under McCarthy that we saw under every HC Jerry has hired since Jimmy left. Jerry said years ago when talking about the head coaching position, that you can change wives but still have the same problems.

Jerry isn’t about to give up precious draft picks for another spectator on the sidelines and have to pay him 10+ million dollars a year. :laugh:
