Nada but would offer something if MM is fired and Kellen is the favorite to be hired!

Payton had a future hall of famer at QB for several years. They only won one SB.
McCarthy had a future hall of famer at QB for several years. They only won one SB.

WHAT makes Payton soooooo much better than McCarthy? I'm not giving up jack crap to replace a guy, with a guy, that has the same freaking resume. The media person(s) that came up with this idea, just wanting people to tune in. It was a click bait question and suggestion.

The Saints were competitive pretty much every year Payton was coach, Bounty-gate and the suspension and the taking away of draft picks was BS setting them back, especially compared to what thr Patriots got for Spygate, and last year with Winston clearly proved he wasn’t over-rated and they were flat out robbed against the Rams otherwise they would have probably won the SB. And it was Brees that sucked against Tampa.

IF 2 1sts is the starting point?
Meh, I dunno.

I was gonna say a 2nd and a 4th and think I was gonna get criticized for being too generous.

Well, Jerry's master plan has always been Kellen anyways.

So I guess its about time to unleash the next Coach In Training on the rest of the league.

I have read that two 1st would be the starting point. Would you go for that?

If Payton comes here he will be only about the money. Coaches who still want to achieve something in their sport dont sign here.

So Id give up nothing for him.

So do we the Cowboys also have a future HOFer in Dak Prescott ?

As the Jones has it set up, we won't ever know if McCarthy at full control (any control) could be just as good and effective as Sean Payton, .
.as the Jones insist upon Kellen leading and orchestrating the Cowboys offense,...and not McCarthy. .

McCarthy will never get to have the chance to display his play calling, scheme and play design that he had in Green Bay.

That being said, what has Payton accomplished without Drew Brees to making it that much easier for him ?
Also Payton's influence to the Saints front office, to re-sign gimmick QB Tayson Hill to a huge contract, has strained that team's cap for years to come
and the guy wasn't even proven as a bona fide starter.

Excuses only explain, they don't excuse. The facts still remain as facts no matter how many caveats you add to them.

The highest? A 5th.
He had one of the greatest quarterbacks in history and managed one Super Bowl appearance/win.

I'm kind of confused, I guess.

Why would we trade draft picks for a coach?

Is he still under contract with the Saints?

Haha, nothing... if we were talking about someone that had won numerous Super Bowls like a Bill Belichick sure I think you consider moving picks, but check this out.. 2 coaching records 1 we already have the other we're debating giving up compensation for.

152-89 regular season, 9-8 playoffs, 1 Super Bowl
143-92 regular season, 10-9 playoffs, 1 Super Bowl

If Sean wants to come here bad enough he can cut his own deal to get out.
Would be monumentally stupid to the point of biblical ramifications if this franchise coughed up picks for SP.

I wouldn't trade anything for him. We have his equal coaching the team now.

Without being sarcastic. I wouldn’t give him 4 .8 round picks . I don’t think anybody else would either
