Been waving the Vasher flag for fans like you BF.
Its just internal hope and optimism for that UDFA prospect that you somehow become attached to as far as achievement.
Its nothing about me, my evaluations/opinions, its about an undrafted WR somehow showing that he can make it.

Just wait until you peeps start understanding Washingtons game.
It going to be like do we really need to pay Pollard, just saying, stay tuned.
Washington has been chomping at the bit for a role that he can actually serve here in this offense.
Dont think for a minute that Pollard is any more of the athlete vs Washington, think of both of them being very very similar in what they can both deliver at either end or in the backfield.
Thank about that evolution, both Washington and Pollard in the backfield together in a look.
Moore better get on board or we need advocates to start signing petitions.
This offense has more explosive talent than most are willing to recognize at the moment.

We have a scary cat for a QB.

With his frame he may be able to hurt some teams

But again we have a scary QB, who only wants to make safe throws. Preferably 5 yards

Well why is Dak in the top tier of quarterbacks to throw and compete long downfield passes then???

That doesn't match up to what you're saying.

I've had serious premonitions that you might well be 100% right about that. We've had some exceptional UDFA free agent finds in 2022. If just a few of them turn out to be pleasant surprises, good things are possible. For the time being, faith and hope seem justified, with the results yet to come. Both our offense and our defense might be well served by that blessing in the future.

Dak’s the one derailing the team. Get back with me at the end of the season.

The team led the league in penalties.... i guess that was Daks fault. When the defense allows people to rush for 200, can't get off the field on 3rd downs because of pass interference, hands to the face or offsides, thats Dak's fault too huh.

You sound dumb as hell....

Anyway, I hope that Vasher can live up to the off-season hype that we're being fed. We need all the help we can get.

Get defensive all you want.

Everyone knows what Dak is, your chest pounding is getting old. Nobody believes he's great anymore. Get over it.....

Dude
But be honest. When someone goes through life not knowing a simple and often used phrase like scaredy cat, doesn’t that say something about their ability to receive and process information correctly? ;)

The scaredy cat thing really got you bent out of shape.

My fault for trying to use your elementary terms and failing.

End of the day, Dak isn't the answer. Let's not try to run from that.

The annual preseason hype machine is already cranking. May need to tap those brakes on TJ Vasher.

As a big Texas Tech fan who saw every game TJ Vasher ever played at Tech, I would be very surprised if Vasher is anything beyond a deep backup. And I really like the kid.

There are a tons of reasons why he wasn’t drafted. For every circus catch he made, there were multiple drops. He never played STs at Tech, so unless that changes in Big D his value to the team will be lessened. I certainly could be dead wrong but I never saw Vasher as an NFL starter based on what I saw of him at Tech. I will be happy if he proves me wrong.

There is no need to keep repeating that story every time Vasher's name is mentioned.

By definition, UDFAs are traits players that didn't put it all together in college.

Vasher definitely has interesting traits.

Would I be surprised if he becomes an NFL #1 WR? Yes.

Would I be surprised if he makes the roster and eventually bypasses the contributions of guys like Cedrick Wilson? No.

Yeah, at present he's winning the underwear practices. When he gets up against the big boys, his lack of speed, quickness, and lateral agility will keep him from getting open, as well as his lack of body armor will lead to him getting pushed around at the LOS.

Maybe a red zone threat?

I've been interested to see Vasher since they signed him a year ago.

He is not really what people envision if they just look at his measurables.
- i.e. He is not the typical really tall, but slow forty time WR.
- He is very limber with good body control for a guy that height.

Length at 6'5' some can argue 6'6", and 4.58 forty isnt horrible considering his size.
Arms at 35.8 when compared to Mike Evans 35.8 and same height both at 6.5
Evans ran a 4.58 forty so comparable to a degree as far as measurables.
In no way am I comparing Vasher to Evans skill level, just similar profiles.
Vashers' hands are huge at 10.38.
In conclusion, Vasher if developed properly could be a dangerous weapon in Red Zone with his enormous catch radius.

It's been reported that Dak has been instructed and has been throwing to WRs tightly covered during OTAs for this particular reason. This trend will continue throughout training camp and preseason.

So much for false accusations.
So I am confused. Is it a false accusation or did they specifically tell him to do something he was already doing?

Dak is interception adverse, which is a good thing but I think he takes it to the extreme and leaves plays on the field.

Appreciate that my boy.

Now let's hope we only have to deal with Dak for 1 more year. Vasher can then maybe break out after.

Who looks forward to getting rid of a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. Hope we only have to deal with Dak one more year???? What???

I assume you're new to watching professional football. That wouldn't be a smart move my friend. The key is to hold on to your best players, especially at the quarterback position. You can't just create good quarterbacks like you do on Madden or something. Dak is ranked in the top 10 and has a pretty good winning percentage for a reason.
