A thread about a tall skinny slow WR festers into a Dak argument? Can't y'all at least take the lame Dak stuff and leave it in its own thread? I mean, you've already said everything you're saying now, so this is just a reiteration anyway.

STAY ON TOPIC!!

Been waving the Vasher flag for fans like you BF.
Its just internal hope and optimism for that UDFA prospect that you somehow become attached to as far as achievement.
Its nothing about me, my evaluations/opinions, its about an undrafted WR somehow showing that he can make it.

I have a considerable number of players that I'm keeping tabs on, as well. Vasher is one of them, among many others. It's tough breaking into lineups such as those that the Cowboys already have in house. I'm sure there are some who never manage to get enough attention to qualify. It's truly a numbers game, to be sure. Oftentimes, it's a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

Nevertheless, there's nothing wrong with pulling for those who appeal to you for whatever reasons that one might admire. I readily identify with your passion for those types of players. After all, that's what fans do. I guess every passionate fan does that. It's what makes fandom so much fun. ;)

P.S. I'd like nothing more than to see center, Alec Lindstrom win a spot, even if it's just a backup role. Perhaps on the practice squad, even.

Someone could start a thread about our kicker and it would get derailed into Dak love vs hate diatribe.

What intrigues me the most these days is the comp at several positions fighting for roster rights.
Ive highlighted Vasher since he was signed as UDFA, and he is an example, and hope the WR group becomes stronger, but if you really want to know what intrigues me the most its at the WLB that Quinn is and has been adamant about.
Its a vital part of Quinns' defensive scheme.
Q wanted Neal to be that player, a stop gap but never panned out.
Cox was drafted to be that specific player, and Harper for insurance policy/depth.
LVE will have his hands full trying to retain his role on this defense.
This back seven could end up being a vital strength for the defense this season.

They can't. If a thread can be tangentially related to Dak they pounce with the same old lame boring points. We all know their opinions on Dak. How can we not. They repeat them ad-nauseam. Some we even agree on. We're tired of talking about Dak and want to talk about something else, but they just don't want to allow that. Ruins so many threads.

I'd be pretty pleased if Stephen opted to fulfill his promise to sign a veteran FA like Anthony Barr, for example.

He's no spring chicken but could still play the middle, when Micah Parsons has occasions to rush the QB. :)

He'd probably be reluctant to pay him what his asking price would be, but he'd be great depth, if nothing else.

Not only that, but Barr is extremely versatile and could readily fill in at DE, in the event of some injuries there!

I could definitely picture Dan Quinn grinning from ear to ear if, by some miracle, Stephen decided to go there.

You're clearly upset....dude.

It'll be ok, Dak will lead the league in completion percentage throwing 5 yards, and we can't make the playoffs. But at least he leads the league.

Don't be mad.... dude

I couldn't be mad if I tried. I just feel sorry for you that you know absolutely nothing about football and you're not capable of basic reading. Thats horrible for you.

If you did know football, you wouldn't have set yourself up to look so stupid by implying that Dak only throws 5 yards, you know why???? Because Dak statistically is in the top tier of quarterbacks for downfield completed passes of 20 yards or more.

Reading comprehension is very important. Not only to prevent you from making yourself look constantly dumb on messaging boards with false statements, stats, and lies, to go along with the inability to successfully answer basic questions, but you'll need those reading comprehension skills in life. Good luck to ya my guy!!

If you don't understand what goes on in football, just ask someone. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

I wish all our WRs were tallboys like Vasher....
Less chance for Dak to sail one over their heads:D

I say we test the waters with a newly drafted QB.

Go through the growing pains. Can't do worse than Dak.

Homie doesn't have it, and only wants to throw if a guy is wide open or 5 yards, then do that stupid thing with his jaw when we go 3 n out.
Can’t do worse than Dak? You lose any credibility if you’re being serious. He was in the MVP talk and you’ve seen the stats compared to the QB’s you like. He’s very comparable and bested some greats in some areas.

How many Qb’s drafted fail? Many. Dude you’re thinking with your emotions, I guess. Alll I know is the can’t do worse than Dak statement was really dumb.

Come on man. Be better. At least try.

You have faith in Dak, and that's cool.

I had faith, lost faith, then started to regain faith again only to be let down.

I can respect and get that, but saying we can’t do worse is a slap in the face to Quincy Carter, Drew Henson, Chad Hutchinson…and they deserve better!!

Did I miss something? Is there a reason this is such a negative thread? I read the article and it sounds like Vasher has had a good off-season. He really needed to in order to have any shot at making the team and it appears that he has. The comments range from "Dak sucks" to "If Vasher's the standout we are in trouble."

I have NO idea if he can be a player at this level, but I'm happy he's had a productive summer. It would be great for the Cowboys if we had a receiver unexpectedly able to contribute right out of the gate this year with Gallup potentially missing time. GO VASHER!

We have a scary cat for a QB.

With his frame he may be able to hurt some teams

But again we have a scary QB, who only wants to make safe throws. Preferably 5 yards

right show ne this YPA at 5 , what a total troll come in and hate on dak in thread about a WR..odd our TE and WRs since 2016 have had some great years,, how can most of their YPC be near 14

if daks only thrown safe short dump offs. our TE had 10 YPC od slow lumber not much YAC TE gets that type of YPC avg,.,

dont answer, you are a total hater troll and nothing you say carries weight or validity.

he maybe safter than a brett Farve or Romo type ie 38 tds to 10 INT but the dude still slings it his top 7 in every conceivable QB category says you are wrong. We have a franchise qb maybe not elite but how many are? yet fans can't accept all payers have flaws but have a top 7 qb in the league is bonus not a negative.

go back to the hole whence you came TROLL!
