Honestly don’t care if Dak is here for 5 more years or gone after next but Greg’s got a valid point with the trolls and that 1 in particular

it’s not just the Dak titled threads it’s when many threads all get turned into a bunch of babbling nonsense back and forth

Greg’s also correct that Dak isn’t the only concern here and too many make it out to be or at least make that a priority in their posting. That said I understand I was pretty vocal when I was fed up with previous QB round 2012 & 13

Firstly- We shouldn't allow online debates to, "stir us up." If you're getting worked up over this, maybe it's not for you.

Secondly- why does it matter in a discussion who roots for what team? The opinions/arguments are either valid or invalid. People can disagree and the world continues to turn.

Lastly- maybe it's due to my position, but the majority of the nonsense I see around here are the attacks against the critics. Strawmanning, accusations of trolling, "you don't know football," etc. are generally responses you see from the homers replying to criticism. Do a post count in this thread alone of who is attacking who. Yeah, the guys you call trolls say bad stuff about the players. But when it comes to going after posters, it seems pretty one-sided.

ok, I don't have the patience or time to go over 22 pages....however I would venture to say these are the arguments

  • can't win against teams with winning record
  • He dumps the ball off too much
  • he is inaccurate
  • he can't run any more
  • he doesn't read the field
  • he doesn't attack down field.
  • he only wins against NFCE
  • he has 1-3 playoff record
  • thank you Dak for the 25 yard run at the end of SF game
  • meaningless stats when the game is already over
  • can't read defenses
  • gimpy!
  • his salary has handicapped this team for next 4 centuries (ok, I am exagerating a bit, its just 4 decades)
  • he doesn't belong in the league
  • he pulled a fast one over jerry jones
  • can't win with him, no way we win the superbowl


what am I missing?

You nailed it for the most part. The only thing you missed is @MountaineerCowboy won't let anyone view is profile pack or his history. That's about it.

The Romo forum helped. That's my opinion from my perspective. I'm not asking for anyone to agree or even care to understand, that ship has sailed with regard to Prescott.

You and I used to have some real good convos, not sure if you remember. But presently, I have no desire to go back and forth with you and I don't think you are being genuine. I'm simply going by what people post and how extreme some of the unrealistic hatred is. I'm moving on. Have a good one.

You have to recognize that like-minded folks generally support each other. So if a couple of fans think Prescott is the blame for everything there's no use discussing things diplomatically. Any criticism you post will be ignored because you support your team's players.
