No he isn't capable of winning Super Bowls without Jimmy Johnson building a team for him. But let's give credit when it's due.

There is no other person alive who could have somehow keep the Cowboys national media spotlight as bright as it is, especially with all of the playoff mediocrity. That does take a special gift! And no sarcasm here.

You mean to tell me that a team that hasn't won a SB in close to 30 years still remains the most important team in all professional sports? How is that even possible?

Love him or hate him, you have to give it up to Jerry Jones and his mentally challenged son Stephen!

Micromanagement. It’s not the way to win a championship. Yes Jerry deserves a lot of credit in a lot of areas other than. What’s most important. A championship

I can’t comprehend. And people don’t understand. Teams win championships. Ownership management it’s another source of a team. No one does it by themselves. Totally agree with you

How many players did Jerry want that Jimmy didn’t . And vice versa. The higher the people to do their job. But when you micromanage them you might as well not even hire people that can do their job because you don’t let them.

Is this an exercise in extreme sarcasm?

If it is, congratulations! It was deceptively brutal.

If not......well, here goes:

Do you think that I or any Cowboy fan gives a flip about how popular the Cowboys are? Why would that matter? Is it the ultimate "misery enjoys company" take? And by the way, what does that trophy look like?

Okay, so congratulations to Jerry for his ability to deceive enough football fans to the point where he can take more of their money than any other franchise owner. Do you understand that the Cowboys are being recognized for having the most gullible fans in the NFL?

Part of his ability to make so much money has to do with his opponent friendly stadium. There is no homefield advantage and that is not an opinion. The Cowboys have the 2nd lowest difference in winning percentage between home games and away games. The stadium is a tourist attraction for any fan that wishes to see their team play well against the Cowboys.

I'm not going to give the redundant list of Jerry's inept, incompetent, amateurish stunts while handling this team as a GM without the talent, experience and credentials that it typically requires.

And please don't give me the typical response of, "well, then don't be a Cowboys fan" Jerry Jones is not the Cowboys, he's just the worse part of the franchise's operation.

Jerry doesn't keep this team in the national spot light...us fans do. We the fans are responsible for ushering in the new generation of fans. Cowboy fandom was passed to us from our elders and we've met up the tradition.

Landry put this team in the spotlight and we've held the lantern all these years. Not Jerry.

he is one of the best marketing people I have ever known. he can sell ice to the eskimo in the middle of winter and they think they got a good deal. who can take a franchise from being worht 300-400M to 5B and having been one of the absolute worst franchises in the NFL, being 3rd to last in playoff success during that period....I am the eskimo. I bought the ice
