Farniok and Ridgeway.

It's time to start winning in the trenches. So I hope Farniok starts at center and Ridgeway starts next to Bohanna.

Dak needs 100 yards on the ground to win. And every time we give up 100 yards we lose. Time to start winning in the trenches.
:yourock:

I am rooting for Farniok too. And Jabril Cox on defense, although I really hope Joseph comes to the fore.

I highly doubt Ridgeway and Bohanna are ever on the field together except maybe in 3rd and short or on the goal line. We won’t play two 1 techs together in any other situations IMO.

Offensive line. Want to watch Steele shut up the LC whiners. See our first round pick manhandle some defensive lines in the same mold as some of our other famous strongman first and second round picks through the last 30 years. And see our underrated center get some props this year now that he has two guys next to him that would make ol’ John Madden giddy.

Congratulations...you think just like Jerry. And what has Jerry's train of thought done for this team in the last 26 years? Nothing...unless you call the Rams to run for over 200 yards against us in the playoffs an accomplishment.

It’s called common sense. You might try it sometime. On passing downs you want a DT that can rush the QB. 1 Techs generally are poor pass rushers. It’s not me saying this, it’s history. I’m a UK fan, so I’ve followed Bohanna throughout his entire career. He’s not a pass rusher and probably never will be. Use your head for something other than a hat rack.

By the way, the Rams rushed for those yards in the playoff game simply because their running game was better than our defense. Well, that and piss poor game planning by our staff.

Name all of the NFL teams that consistently play 2 325+ lb. 1Techs together. I’ll wait.

Only have one. Jalen Tolbert. The kid should not be compared to Cooper by any stretch which some in here may do, but the ceiling could certainly make a difference right from the jump.

Obviously Tolbert is a rookie & therefore has no NFL history, but that isn’t stopping people, including myself, from thinking that he could have a breakout sort of eye popping season.

Of the rookies…

Fergy Ferg. I think he can be every bit of what Schultz is and a little bit more.

Ridgeway…it would be nice to finally hit on an impactful DT. I like his demeanor. Now we need to see if he can actually play.

Marquesse Bell…Swiss army knife. Could be Javon Kearse’s future replacement

To me, a pet cat is a rookie either drafted low or undrafted.

How can a top 3 draft pick be a pet cat? You already know they made the team.

I think a pet cat should be an unlikely training camp survivor that surprised, and you hope will eventually be a contributor. He should be an underdog.....in ordedr to qualify as a pet cat.

My pet cat this season is LB Devin Harper.

Who are your Cowboys player "pet cats" (little-known players due to lack of NFL experience whom you feel has the potential to truly shine or surprise on the football field) on Offense & Defense for 2022?

Mine are rookies:

Offense: WR Jalen Tolbert
Defense: DE Sam Williams

What say you?

:starspin:
I would go with
Tyler Smith - obvious reason, good run game means efficient offense
Gallimore (& Cox) - run stoppage and efficient LB
