They over-used him due to injuries to other DTs.
- I think he tapered off more due to 'tired legs' than anything else.
- Rookie's tend to wear down "hit the rookie wall".
- Undersized rookie DTs are even more likely to wear down.

This is true, its the trenches, the real trenches of the NFL.
Some may argue that OL work just as hard, but the difference is that OL are not assigned upfield task, if you get to the LB at second level on running play than you are achieving.
True trenches is the interior DL, that need to be up field collapsing the pocket and causing havoc and chaos in the backfield.
Those big boys do the strong work and this team while invested somewhat, need to discover a player that can play that role.
Largest role of the dice for this team this year, we shall all start to see soon.

I'm surprised that fans don't have more excitement about this player.
- He played a major role as a rookie in helping the team make the playoffs.

Yeah and the undersized narrative isn't as applicable as normal, because he is ridiculously strong.

Definitely one of my favorite players as well.

Love his wrestling background.

I'm totally expecting him to get better this year.

It's not my responsibility to teach you anything.

Learn what it means and then acknowledge you're wrong.
How many weeks does it take? You dodge questions like a deceptive woman. A man doesn't have issues with simple questions.

The rookie wall hits often time around week 10, these guys play now 3 pre season games and then a 17 game season, college you are looking at 11 to 12 games in a season including bowl game. NFL season takes a lot out of most rookies and will normally take an off season to train up for those extra games.

Like the possibility of this happening!.
We have several good canidates on the roster.
That is the entire concern, but every team takes a roster building gamble, we have made interior DL ours.
Q is banking on fruition from his young DL, time for the flower to bloom.
Great gamble if it works out.

Crawford. Smaller, quicker DTs can look good for a while, but better be physical superfreaks or they'll be pounded into hamburger fighting in a phone booth with guys a lot stronger than they are.

Had some flash plays. Hoping he builds off that and has consistency. We need those plays he made.

Then they are equally as clueless as to what a rookie wall is. You don't hit a rookie wall 6 games into a season.

Some say there are actually two waves of rookie walls. One in weeks 4-6. The other sometime after week 9.

By October?

I think he just had a few good games and regressed back to norm
