It was a pretty much perfect day here in CT today, for the family cookout. Sunny, dry, 81 degrees, with a cool breeze during the day, now down in the low 60's.

About 95 today here in central Oklahoma, the heat done will intensify this week with highs 100+ for the next several days.
My niece and her wife were here from St. Louis, and they were saying it's been triple digits with 80% humidity out there.

It is about the same in Southeastern Oklahoma maybe a lil cooler still feels weird to type Oklahoma instead of Texas
Yep, thought i heard on the news we have had over 20 days of 90+ temps already, and we are only a couple weeks into summer.

My niece and her wife were here from St. Louis, and they were saying it's been triple digits with 80% humidity out there.
Poop on that, didn't mind it when i was younger but the older i get i want cooler/cold temps. I really feel sorry for them as Oklahoma isn't the only state getting shafted. Around mid May most of the state was in various stages of a drought. Then for a 2 week period at the end of May/early June we got a bunch of rain, 6-8 inches of rain with some areas getting more. Since then it has been bone dry and the drought is slowly weeping across the State again.

After 2 summers of not many 100-degree days in Dallas, we are going to have a ton this summer.
I'm guessing at least 35-40.
Reminds me of the early 90s.

It's 68 F and raining. We had a few days last week in the high 70's to live 80's. Overall, it has been a cool and wet start to the summer in NW Montana.

Ferging HOT! Been traveling up North or NW all year until now, and now down South to boot. I want my cold air back. I was in Reno two weeks ago. Could roll down the windows, enjoy the cool (and dry!) mountain air. I was watching one of those YouTube climate temperature prediction videos last week that showed how hot it was going to start getting down South. To heck with Texas or anywhere down South. I’ll watch my games in old age from the North! Give me some Mountain breezes.

Last night, we had about 15-20 minutes of marble-size hail followed by an absolute apocalyptic rain storm.

A large portion of our garden was wiped out along with short sections of our road. No damage to the home -- we have a metal roof (although, it did sound like an artillery bombardment during the storm). Pity those with traditional composite shingles.

Still assessing the damage this morning.

Edit: a couple of damaged solar panels; apparently still in working order.
