I don't care where they are ranked by anyone in the media or the fake media, or the fans on here, or the fake fans on here.

I do believe they are a decent group and will be very productive as long as the TEAM and OL plays well.

Lamb
Gallup
Tolbert
Williams
Brown
Shultz
McKeon
Ferguson
Pollard
Elliott

As a collective, I’d say the upper half, MAYBE top ten. What do YOU say?

No. From a spectator standpoint, not even top 15. All we have is Lamb. The rest is unknown. We have a rookie, and Gallup coming off a bad injury. All of these unknowns will have to prove they are top 10. No way to assume that now.

Why do you think, this squad could be in the top ten?

Just an optimistic speculation based on talent and potential. Lots of “ifs”, but if Gallup comes back strong, Tolbert is as good as advertised, and Washington throws in a solid 600-700 as a #3 or 4, Lamb at WR1. Add some Pollard in the slot, and our WR group is formidable. Shultz’s prove it year should produce similar (or better) numbers, a Ferguson was a stud at Wisconsin. Add 2000+ from our RBs, and this offense could do between 6 and 7k, which translates to a group in the upper half of the league.

Of course, anything COULD happen, but I’m not the type that wastes time crying about the potential for doom. We COULD finish dead last, and I STILL gotta pay my light bill!

So assume the worst. Whatever you enjoy!

Isn’t every season “unknown”? Hope and optimism is normal for any fan. We’ll see. No matter what happens, I’m committed to fun, and won’t feel inferior or apologetic, even if they flop!

Impossible to judge at present. Our WR corps effectiveness depends on 2 things:

1. Lamb being a #1. As much as people try to claim he is or isn't, we simply do no know at this time.
2. Gallup coming back at a high level or Tolbert ready to play right away. One must happen.

Gallup is going to be out at least 6 games due to injury and we haven’t seen Tolbert take a snap yet. And Lamb will be going up against #1 CB’s this year.

Last years receiving corps were definitely top 10. Little early to be making these claims this year. But training camp is a time for renewed optimism.
Not claims, so much as speculation based on what is known so far. Just an alternative to the “Dak sucks” or “We’re Doomed” threads!

With contributions from elsewhere. Washington, Brown, someone else?

I've got Washington penciled in as starting slot WR. Someone would have to have a tremendous camp to unseat him. Washington is a good player who lost in a numbers game in PITT, not to mention that Rothy is a downfield passer mostly and Wash is a slot guy. High quality pickup for us.

Noah is strictly a STer who can catch a few passes. I'm sure he knows the system.

Amazing how different the WR group looks without Cooper. Of course they can trot out a 5th round draft pick to bolster the group.

I agree on Washington.

But at some point, I think we'll see Fehoko in the mix as well. I think Simi breaks out, and contributes significantly. Camp should at least be interesting.

I liked him as a draft pick, but I just can't get over how incredibly awkward he looked last pre. Rooting for him for sure, tho!!!!
