The holiday weekend is over. We now have 21 days (if you do not count today) until TC starts.
It could seem to go by quick from this point.

What are you looking for as they open TC? Such as any roster moves? Rowdy being left behind?

I think Gallup starts on PUP, as well as Jabril Cox, as the team cites the same stuff, day to day, ease them back in. I am ok with this. I can even see them out of TC until they return to Frisco.
I think Clark will be in that group also, probably NFI, basically same as PUP.

I don't see any roster moves, unless they sign the LB coming in on the 8th, Malik Jefferson.
And we get to see Jane Slater with her daily TC reports. Rather you think she is accurate or not, that is ok. Better than listening to and looking at Ed Werder. :muttley:

Football is around the corner fellow fans. Even for those that say..meh, wake me when the season starts. You do care, because you will be on here posting about what you haven't seen in TC.

Always love to see every single rookie and hope we find a few gems.

  • And for the 4 year Hill, I've always thought the natural talent in there. Just hope one day he matures/stays healthy to see whether my belief is founded. If not, what the heck, I'm wrong all the time!

The season to start....TC just doesn't do it for me the way it used to. I'm looking for guys to stay healthy, and maybe some rave reviews on a few guys that we didn't see stepping up. Overall my TC expectations are super low these days.

I used to live and die with each practice and had so many pet cats in the preseason that I would lose sleep not knowing how the Cowboys would ever keep all that talent on the roster.....Those are the years they would typically go 5-11.

I'm looking forward to seeing our brand spanking new future all pro guard/tackle look great at both positions and seeing what our rap star CB can do with a new year and new opportunity.
I got a feeling Tolbert will put on a show in practice and preseason games.

You ask a serious question I will offer my serious answer for all to possibly embrace and embellish.
This team needs the rest of last years class to step up and step in.
Fehoko
Farniok
Cox
Muk
Need to find some contributors asap.

I want to see if Washington is the perfect fit in this offense or if Moore decides to under value his potential role much like he has with Pollard.
I want to see Josh Ball become a solid much needed tackle.
I want to see Osa take that next step, bring Bohanna with him.
And last but not least, you peeps have no idea who is about to shred this league,,, my boy....

The trences mainly Tyler Smith, Sam Williams and Osa. I expect something good from Osa.
Tyler Smith is almost necessary to come through. I think he will

A lot of high expectations placed on any interior DL on this roster, and Osa was a rook and showed flashes of what he could become on a regular basis, we want to all see Osa take that next step this season.
We need to finally have a transcending DT, we wanted that from Gallimore , and I hope he gets on board asap, but Gallimore seems to have gone in neutral, he showed flashes his rook year.
If Gallimore doesnt pick up his game, he could be the cut.

I want to see Rowdy's costume burned in effigy on the 50 yard line, but that won't happen.

Absent that, I can't wait for massive overreactions to the first clips/reports from camp. :muttley:

one player Sam Williams, he could be this years Parson
in General, hoping to see evidence of a strong run game and a staut defense.

Micah and Sam meeting at the QB
This could be a very special pairing, and its reflective of this FO finally trusting McClays dept.
Its very smart business to invest in what you have already found success with, and adding Sam Williams to an already proven franchise player in Parsons, thats good buisness.
That kind of tandem is what changes an entire defense around quickly, other pieces start to fall into place rapidly.
