This is pure BULLSHIP. He has a VERY good wining percentage, completion rate, and fourth qtr comeback winning percentage. This notion that is was Romo that *** up the games is pure imagination.

Since you took the time and trouble of providing all these inflated passing stats, can you please tell us how many of those fourth quarter comebacks occurred in the playoffs?? While you're at it, share with us the amount of game winning drives Romo engineered in the playoffs?? All those numbers are truly meaningless.. The bottom line is, did he win??

ME: According to Brice Butler, Romo was making the offensive weekly game plan.
I've always wondered if he was doing that for the 2016 season.

He was. And as soon as he left, the offense took a nose dive. Giving him his starting job back in the playoffs then hiring him as an OC would have been their best option.

What's the evidence for Romo making the game plan in 2016? I've never heard anyone beyond Butler say that Romo *ever* made the weekly game plan, let alone claiming that he did it 2016 specifically.

I would have given him back the starting job in 2016 too.

How does one "inflate" stats? Do you parse Dak's in the same way?

It was no "trouble" at all. I enjoy studying our players' accomplishments. You?

No disrespect to Romo or any other QB from this passing game era, but I often wonder what a guy like Staubach would do to this league if he played today.. It would be scary. That's my point regards to inflated stats, the only way that a guy like Romo can have better career numbers [Passing yards, Touchdowns, etc.] than Roger Staubach is because the rule changes NFL implemented to benefit the offense. As a result, it's much more difficult to play defense and it's much easier to play offense. Before you Dak haters chime in, I include him in this as well, because more than likely he will end up #1 in Cowboys history in all or most of the passing records achievable for a QB.

My wife is watching some crap and I don’t feel like going to Cave. Fri night is her night for TV. I’m outside broiling some grass fed tenderloin . Watching dog chase rabbits and squirrels . Big evening. Lol

It's 4th July holiday. Right now, this lady is enjoying an adult beverage at the outside tiki bar on the beach. Last thing I wish to do is watch TV let alone all day NFL Network on the Cowboys.

Why would they let him have control in 2014, win 12 games that year, then just take control back for no reason.

Attended a birthday party this past Saturday night at a multifacited restaurant-bar (onstage comedian, house DJ, dance floor, etc.)
Had tvs there tuned to sports channels; NFL Network was running the "Champions season" marathon.

Further, it would seem like a real kick in the groin to take your injured starting QB *off* of duties he was previously relied on. If anything, with the extra time, I'd expect them to expand his role.

But one could argue that Romo making a gameplan for *himself* makes more sense than Romo trying to make one for another QB.

I don't *know* that was the plan going into 2016, and don't know if that plan stuck when Romo got injured. There are good reasons to infer that it did. But I have no *evidence* beyond my inferences.
