I’m glad the starting QB is putting in work in the off-season, that hasn’t always been the case for this team.

You dont need to go from one extreme to another. Just dont massivley exaggerate like he does day in and day out. Its gets so annoying.

He wasnt in the best shape of his life last year. Thats just one simple example of how i know he is lying. And i dont need to see his body weight. We are talking about the QB position. Someone who says he is in the best shape of his life is talking about his position. He doesnt talk about his physical fitness.

The guy is only trying to sell his brand.
He didn’t say he was last year. He said he was feeling good after his rehab. But sure.

Hmmm ?

Of course he said that last year. Why do you think its a running joke since then here at this forum ?
Because everyone says it every year? Including tyron smith. Dak didn’t say that last year friend. To my knowledge at least

You asked me how i know he is lying. I gave you an example.
It doesnt matter if someone else uses this wording also. But maybe Tyron is making jokes out of Dak thats why he said it.

If you dont believe me he said it, thats your right.

You picked the one year a dude is coming off a ankle facing the wrong way?

Almost everyone does indeed say it.

Yawn......I simply don't care about words. Good for him and as a pro athlete you should be in great shape...but all I care about is how he performs on the field.

Cool..... I guess this means they will win 7 games instead of 6.

Yep. This is the same guy who waited to show interest in competing for a super bowl until after he got paid. Like now, those comments were just a lot of noise.

Just look at his record outside the division and I'll have you there too.

Off the top of my head THEY beat the Chargers, Pats, Saints, Vikings, Panthers last year. Those were all pretty solid teams at the time we played.

From what I could find he's about 2 games over .500 going back to 2016. Is that what you're referring to?

Actually he's a couple years removed from back surgery so it would make sense. I didn't know he even said it, though.

The patriots were 2-3 when Dallas played them - hardly a solid team at that point. And of the teams you mentioned, only the Pats made the playoffs. The Chargers game was game #2 of the season, so no one had any idea what to really expect.

Sure, those were 5 wins outside of the division, but in keeping with Dak's inability to show up against the truly good teams, none of those wins were remarkable. Too much credit was given for the win over the Patriots in my opinion. But hey, a win is a win.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...approaches-camp-in-the-best-shape-of-my-life/

It’s “I’m in the best shape of my life this season” season, and Cowboys fans will be happy to know that their quarterback has gotten his membership card.

“A couple of weeks out and I’m in the best shape that I’ve ever been in,” Prescott told reporters during a break in his youth football camp, via Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com. “So it’s time to ramp it up and get going.”

Prescott was asked to elaborate on what is said so often by NFL players in the spring and summer that it just becomes predictable noise.

“One, just because of my movement,” Prescott said. “I got a PT in the offseason — someone I’ve worked with throughout the last year. I’ve paid him, made him full-time, my guy. Whether it’s vacation or not, he comes with me. We work on these movements and stretches. I feel like, since the injury, I’ve trained more functional than I ever have. So I see it in my body, I see it the way I move and how the ball is coming out.”

One thing to love about Dak - he invests in getting better every offseason.

He's gotten better at pocket presence and deep ball accuracy, despite many saying that "you either have accuracy, or you don't".

I'd like to see him get better at short ball accuracy. The dump offs to backs. We seem to underproduce in the receiving game at RB, and to my eye, some of that is Dak not hitting the backs in stride.

But the deficiencies remain

If I were Dak I would pay Payton Manning 1 million to hire him to work with me on reading defences all off season. At the level Dak is, if he works with a Payton twice a week for 5 months going over every single game film he will understand what defences are doing and that will make him a much better QB but of course that requires accepting that you are weak in this area and I don’t think he would be willing to truly accept that

#1 scoring offense in the NFL and #1 yardage offense in the NFL.

Get lost. NO one is buying your drivel. You sound like a clown.

Poor Dak and all his deficiencies. :lmao2::lmao2::lmao:

If only he could read defenses we could be the highest scoring offense in the NFL. :muttley:
