Personally, I think yes. He's been here long enough now and needs to bring us a ring. I'll give him one more season but if we fail again him and Mccarthy can be sent packing!!
Yay. Another Dak thread.

Question for you. If Dak doesnt win a Superbowl and the Cowboys send him and MM "packing".

Who would you like to sign in his place? Because I am pretty sure the cap hit for cutting and or trading Dak would destroy the cap. We may have Kellen Moore back out there slinging the rock.

I would have brought in Wilson this offseason.

Dak is what he is. There is no making or breaking. We are in a hamster wheel situation. We aren't winning any Super Bowls with him and Jones's know that. They don't care as long as fans keep buying tickets and merchandise.

His deal makes it virtually impossible to move him in the next few years unless the team wants to rebuild due to a huge dead cap for a year or two.

Cowboys made their bed with Prescott so just learn to live with it. Jerry doesn't do rebuilds so expect them to always restructure as needed to remain "competitive".

The guy should be in his prime right now...yet he still can't read defenses, so i guess you are right. He is what he is. The Moronic Duo got fleeced on this one, and we knew it before it happened. Except for some folks here who said he was the messiah and would lead this team to glory. Well, the train has left the station and no options for these two except watch the wreckage year after year.

You are correct 49 and 52 mill cap hits in 23 , 24 so it’s restructuring to the dead years and Dak is here for eternity because Jerry is as smart as a pile of cow crap.
By then the Cap is going to increase so much might not need to restructure. Even worse I might expect Jethro to extend contract.

This is part of why Dak only wanted a 4 year deal cause knew the Cap was going to increase significantly with new TV deal.

He can't read the field very well. It's getting annoying

The bigger problem though is in our owners eyes it’s not wreckage. It’s a huge financial windfall for revenue.

Dak is enough for his team to remain interesting and relative .

It’s not going to cover Daks and others but you are correct they will extend because Dak holds all the cards and Jerry has no balls to do what’s best for the team, he isn’t eating any money, he likes his collection of underachieving players.

No

Now let me prepare for next ridiculously anti or pro Dak thread. I can't tell which are more annoying
