What makes Dak a good running QB isn't his speed, which just isn't fast in terms of the NFL, it's his size and the fact that he's not the easiest QB to take down, especially once he gets in the secondary.

Initially in Daks career I would agree, but at this stage he is a tackling dummy.
Has never really had the natural instincts or awareness to be considered one of the good running QBs, but now its scary watching him try and leave the pocket.
Sacking Dak has become a game day award for the opposition.

The only way this team ever even sniffs another SB appearance with Dak as the QB is if we have an iron wall in front of him, best OL in the league, but then most even average QBs would have the same shot.
Dak needs extended time to read the field, and thats unachievable with a deteriorating OL.
Using another 1st on Smith helps, but it sadly will not be enough Im expecting.

I agree with the first part. When Mahomes gets pressured just a little he folds like a cheap paper back. But it was not Steve Young I feared, it was the 49ers in general.

I live football. In the military overseas all you could get was the Cowboys. Roger Staubach the star how could I not love it. I’ve been a fan of this franchise since the first game.
