sometimes the teams put them off the pasture to save them from other teams poaching , is this something like that?
'nalam' - I was about to make that stash procedure part of my post....but then thought " It's the beginning of TC - and it's for three UDFAs"...way too early for Dallas \ any team to use that loophole.
You could be right; maybe those guys flashed so bright during OTAs and minicamps - Cowboys made the decision to keep them on board through their injury recoveries.
It's a situation to keep an eye on.

With Gallup on the PUP, when’s the soonest he can come back?
technically right now if he passes his physical before now and the start of the season game 1. The reality it won't be until sometime after that he had the knee surgery in February. That injury is TYPICALLY 9 months to a year recovery

Gallup tore his ACL late in the regular season, an injury that normally takes about eight months before even the speediest to recover make their way back to the field. The club initially claimed he’d be ready for the start of the season but backed off that proclamation a few months later. His exact return is up in the air and there’s technically still a chance he gets some on-field work in during training camp in Oxnard, CA. However Gallup will begin on the physically-unable-to-perform list (PUP), along with three rookies.

Gallop will most likely be placed on PUP at the beginning of the regular season which would mean he would not be eligible to return for 4 weeks
after start of regular season. There is a chance that he could be on the regular roster for start of season but I doubt it.

Here you go brother...

Gallup got added to the preseason PUP, which means he can come off it and play anytime during the preseason. If Gallup is added to the regular season PUP list as soon as preseason is finished and the regular season is now in play, Gallup then has to sit out 4 games no matter what.

It will most likely be longer, when he injured it is irrelevant, he had the surgery in February that is when the clock started. If he has the best case scenario he could be ready for game 1 but the statistics show 8-9 months is more realistic.

LVE definitely looked better down the stretch, but I think he’s a short-timer in Dallas, while Cox is going to be here for a while. That’s a big factor to me.

I’m also if the opinion that Cox is the perfect compliment to Parsons in his outstanding coverage skills.

Don’t forget about Clark once that neck heals. I hope he’s a good one

I think you will see LVE playing primarily on run packages. I think you will see on passing whenever we have 2 LB's with Parsons hand in the dirt.
