DC.com suggests Sam Williams and Micah Parsons had almost identical measurables at their combines.

Texas_Pete agrees. I mean, why not? After all, he played just as good as Aidan Hutchinson (#2 overall pick) in 1 less game:

Games played:
SW: 12
Hutchinson: 13

Tackles:
Sam: 58
Hutchinson: 56

Sacks:
SW: 12.5
Hutchinson: 13

TFL:
Sam: 15
Hutchinson: 15.5

By season's end, only Tank and Micah will be better pass rushers than Sam I Am:

Loved this pick….he’s a bit of an athletic freak but he CAN translate that to impactful football play. He can do about everything…he can bull rush, swim, dip, and bend. He has a variety of moves as well as speed. Take away the off field stuff and put him on Michigans team, he might’ve been a top 5 pick.

True but it's not like that guy they bought in a few years back from a D3 school that had over 20 sacks that was waived and poached by I think Baltimore. SW had double digit sacks in the top NCAA conference against the best competition. I would call 6 to 8 sacks and being a non liability vs the run a good year.

Darn right that would be a good year. Last year no one other than Micah had more than 6 sacks. The year before no one had more than 6.5 sacks. 2019 one guy had more than 5 sacks. 2018 one guy had more than 6 sacks. And, he very well may be a liability against the run in year one. I think the kid will be a good pass rusher, but with the way we rotate DL I'd be pretty surprised with even 6 sacks. But, who knows. He probably has it in him, I just doubt we see it in year 1.
