It’s like Jerry and Stephen decided this offseason they were going to do everything possible to upset the fan base just to see how much good will they have.

The Dalrymple thing, the extra child scandal, not signing any FAs and leaving 20 million untouched in cap and now taking shots at Jimmy.

I’ve been as staunch a defender of them lately for the overall talent level Dallas usually has but this offseason makes you not like them as people and the one thing they could hang their hat on of stacking talent is going down the drain quickly.

I don’t know where else to put this but Newy just called out Jerry on not signing V Miller. It was pathetic. The guy is past his prime. Nothing he’s doing is a plus

Another Dallas sports reporter also asks Jerry about Jimmy’s ROH status…

5. Deflecting away from the argument

When faced with indisputable proof (like receipts, photos, e-mails), someone with narcissistic traits may redirect attention back onto you as a distraction.

Deflection can include:

  • Indirect or non-answers: bringing unrelated details into the mix.
  • Prior arguments: bringing up old issues, particularly your prior “offenses.”
  • Guilt-tripping: “After everything I’ve done for you, this is how you repay me?”
  • Projection: accusing you of exactly what they are doing.

Jerry Jones is the only one sniveling here.

Former and current players and NFL media have seen how he treats a beloved TV personality and HOF multiple Superbowl winning coach who resurrected this franchise.

Made a promise on National TV to Jimmy, Cowboys Nation and all NFL fans.

No one will forget and it will be instrumental down the road somehow someway.

jerry said I know where your going, but I aint going there!
so he isnt going to say jimmy will go in or not, or when if he did choose him.

He said he spends alot of time each year considering who should go in, lol yeah right, maybe like a minute or 2 each year after a few drinks.

Announcing it a month or so in advance would ensure that the seats are full. No need to wait until they happen to be full already.
nope not how marketing works and BTW seats are always at capacity, jerry doesn't need that im talking starting an unexpected feeding frenzy . Tickets sales have been released? actual full schedule of tickets with times etc??? doubt that

Jerry will do this where it makes those tickets cost triple to get in standing room only..you do realize its AUGUST 1st right fist game September 10th... lots of time to put any number of games as the game to announce this..

I have feeling its this year.,

The elite group was created by Tex Schramm & its first member, Bob Lilly, was inducted on November 23, 1975. Since then, 18 other players, two executives, & one coach have joined Lilly. The ring includes (in chronological order from past to present):

  • Bob Lilly
  • Don Meredith
  • Don Perkins
  • Chuck Howley
  • Mel Renfro
  • Roger Staubach
  • Lee Roy Jordan
  • Tom Landry
  • Tony Dorsett
  • Randy White
  • Bob Hayes
  • Tex Schramm
  • Cliff Harris
  • Rayfield Wright
  • Troy Aikman
  • Michael Irvin
  • Emmitt Smith
  • Drew Pearson
  • Charles Haley
  • Larry Allen
  • Darren Woodson
  • Gil Brandt
This is an incredibly prestigious group of people, 17 of whom are also in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Here are a few players Jerry Jones should consider along with Coach Johnson.
  • Newton
  • Sanders
  • Ware
  • Witten
IMHO sanders isn't pay long enough here sorry if anyone that was hired gun gets in its Haley over sanders, definitely the other 3..

Jerry will be in the ring of honor before Jimmy

So will Stephen, Charlotte, Jerry Jr, and probably a few of the Jones grandchildren.

they are more concerned with the gratification of their own ego’s than the franchise. This was once a proud and historical franchise, still is I suppose, but the Jones family has diminished it greatly imo.

And some wonder why we talk about the old times instead of the present and future.

Depressing!

BTW Jerry is turning into the old “get off my lawn” guy where I think we will start seeing a lot more of this. The fact that Doocy and Newy called him out is telling.

It’s the last thing he has control over.
If he gives in he will let Jimmy win. Sad.
Everybody in the world knows he(Jimmy) was a major contributor to why we were so dominant in the 90’s.
Jerry’s ego won’t let him come to grip with it.
Ultimately, he owns the Cowboys so what he says goes.
Nobody is surprised by his actions anymore or takes him seriously.

Jimmy needs to go in alone....if Bogger wants to tarnish his day by doing multiples at once, Jimmy needs to say no thanks...I would 100% support him. I've said it for over 10 years...however it's done, you can bet that Booger will be flanked by more than just Jimmy on stage.
