I'll admit that I can never make up my mind completely. Always miss Staubach. And for the longest time, I missed Larry Allen and Charles Haley. But right now, I miss Michael Irvin. The way he bullied CBs and make them look like rag dolls. Very underrated and under-appreciated IMO.

Which player do you miss the most?

Travis Frederick. Once he went down and retired early it really screwed up this current era. The Oline has been scrambling ever since.

Roger was my fave, but my pick is Romo, because IMHO, that guy always got the poopy end of the stick. He was a better QB than Eli, who’s got two rings and will probably get in the HOF, while Romo won’t. Number 9 also took some brutal hits that Goat Boy Tom never had to endure. I once saw Brady get knocked over by a slap on the back, got a flag and a huge first down that set up a score to win. That same week, I saw Romo get sandwiched between two defenders, but not a peep from the refs. I was actually surprised he got up!

While there are so many great players to choose from, I wondered how far I'd have to read in this thread to see the name Travis Frederick!
No he's not the greatest Cowboy of all time, but when he retired he left a huge hole on the OL that has yet to be filled, and I really miss the guy. Fred Beard was a great guy and a great C.
