Gregory got screwed

Seems like there is no rhyme or reason to these suspensions, but timing, meaning when and what rules are/were in place, has a lot to to with this. Still sucks though.

Totally irrelevant to us as we don't get to lose to the Brown this coming season and our misery is not due to the NFL front office.
Just brings back bad memories of how bad our offense was without Zeke.....

Collins five game suspension looks heavy handed in comparison to Watson . Glad he’s a Bengal problem now .

The only person that screwed him was himself. All he had to do was not smoke and he would have had an established career. How many players were smarter and continued their careers with little to no interruption? Gregory had many chances but couldn't follow the rules at the time so I have no sympathy. Despite all that he still got a big contract for a small body of work.

Now Watson's suspension is ridiculous and got off incredibly easy considering he could have very well been Bill Cosby.

Seriously, he knew the rules and decided he'd rather do drugs than play. Yeah, real harmless stuff there.

What I'm keeping my eye on is the KJ situation. If KJ is suspended for more than 6 games that would be a strong indicator of a bias against Dallas. Watson and KJ arguably were black eyes for the league and no criminal charges filed against either. Watson was not charged and neither was KJ after investigation. So if KJ gets suspended for more games then even the most staunch defenders of the league actions should take notice. Also why hasn't KJ been suspended yet? If he is going to be suspended wouldn't it be fair to the Cowboys to announce the suspension now as opposed to the end of TC or during the season. Watson's suspension was announced now and the Browns can prepare. If KJ gets suspended shouldn't we get the same amount of time to prepare for his absence or sign a CB? Timing is an issue here as well.

DPD has cleared Joseph I would not expect a suspension at all . Then again the police in Columbus dropped the Zeke matter no prosecution yet a 6 game ding . With Watson it’s a whole different case. Money was exchanged with the complaint victims . Many of them. Roger is a joke.

Yeah it's funny how things work. Supposedly the NFL was only bringing up 4 cases against Watson. Also the idea that Watson is a franchise QB and big attraction for the NFL brings special consideration. Gregory on the other hand is a pothead who just didn't want to listen and is lucky to even be in the league.

What shocked me about Watson's punishment is that he got the same suspension that Zeke got, without an arrest even being made. Fishy stuff. On top of that, the female investigator even stated she didn't think Zeke was guilty. Goodell displayed a rotten agenda for giving that verdict. Not a good look for him.
