interesting tidbits here. Did ya'll know Micah has been randomly playing wr in minicamp? Diggs as well. Could we see Micah/diggs actually get more snaps playing wr after Washington being hurt? Micah looked good actually. The kid can do it all. He is a dawg. Food for thought.

LOL.

There is less than zero chance that either Diggs or Parsons will be playing any WR in real games.

Common sense would dictate the Cowboys should be shaking the trees for WR help right now.

But Stephen and Jerry never seem to make the obviously wise move. Hope I am wrong but something tells me they think they can tread water with Lamb, Tolbert and maybe Brown as their Top 3 until Gallup is back.

Actually I would take Beasely now. Last week no but he knows the offense, has a comfort zone with Dak and could step in week 1 and help us.

Beasley is pretty much exclusively a slot WR unless I've missed something. With Tolbert playing slot and Lamb sliding down into the slot occasionally I think we have to sign an outside WR. I almost think they may need to trade for someone, not a Cooper level-WR but a solid WR2. There just aren't alot of free agents out there. I wonder if Dez is in playing shape, lol.

Then again, maybe Noah Brown can step up. He's got good hands and seems to make plays when given the opportunity.

James Washington was a flyer on a 1 year deal. I like the guy and think he could be a good contributor but him alone doesn't create a dramatic need for receiver. It probably opens the door for guys like Tolbert, Vasher, Simi, and some other young guys to show their worth. At this point I would give it atleast a preseason game to figure out a need.

If there is concern then Hilton, Fuller, Sanders, Beasley, Humphries are all experienced guys that may have a little left to give. Beckham would miss the time he would be needed most so not a preferred signing.

Hey, I know a dude who’s under the radar. He doesn’t have a lot of football experience but, he’s fast, hard to tackle, and he would come cheap.

I mean, this team doesn't really need a #2WR anyway.
Or something like that.

Wait...

I'm starting to think Beasley and start Tolbert as No. 2 Just coach the hell out of Tolbert between now and the first game.
Tolbert, IMO, is ready and can deliver a lot of help if given the chance.

I didn’t think Washington was going to truly challenge Tolbert anyway. I never expected a whole lot from Washington, to be honest.

In other words, this injury doesn’t change a whole lot in my mind, although I certainly could be wrong.

Can't waste that money....gotta pay our 1st round pick in 2031. This whole FA mess just blows my mind...how can you expect to win a Super Bowl when teams that were ALREADY better than you are loading up...the answer is, you can't....and we won't. This team isn't gonna do S....again. BTW, I am VERY disappointed in the Dallas media...this season especially...too many of them have gotten too used to hanging out at The Star and being treated like rockstars themselves. Booger and Chuckles should have been...and still getting...CRUCIFIED for their FA practices....they just flat out do not make sense.

He has seen time in 50 NFL games, and has ZERO TD's....thats making some plays, huh???

Preston Williams would be ideal IMO. Big sideline jump-ball guy, who could be had cheaply. I'd offer Miami a 5th and see if they bite.
